Denmark didn’t “transition” its grid—it replaced it. ~15% → 92% renewable electricity in 25 years. Wind did the heavy lifting. Solar is scaling. Interconnection balanced. Flexibility solved variability. Wind built it. Solar is scaling. Fossil lost it. This IS system replacement.

They won the vote in 2016. They're losing it every single year since. 140,000 Leave voters are lost every year. 85% of young voters want back in. The maths doesn't lie. It's not IF Britain rejoins, it's WHEN. 🇬🇧🤝🇪🇺

@akaelwopo1 @janrosenow Well said Sir. It is often said that anyone who thinks mankind can control the climate has an ego that is not commensurate with their knowledge. Waste management is far more important than blocking motorways in a misguided effort to change the climate.

The irony is that it's misunderstandings like this that discourage people from taking climate issues seriously. It is a well-established fact that the Earth and its climate are complex, chaotic, non-linear systems that have never been perfectly balanced. Pretending we can fully control or stabilize such a system is unrealistic and naive. Instead of focusing on misguided efforts, we should address genuine environmental challenges such as waste management and ocean pollution. Additionally, we should recognize the vital role of carbon dioxide, one of the Earth's fundamental components that supports life through processes like photosynthesis, rather than dismissing it as a harmful pollutant.

Climate has almost disappeared from our conversation. But it remains the most pressing challenge of our times. Last week the WMO said the planet is “more out of balance than at any time in observed history.” Energy security and climate security are not competing priorities.
