So at one point we had the problem where people thought that Warcraft Logs and FF Logs were different teams (or even companies?). We introduced the Archon brand to sit above all the sites we manage, but now some people seem to think we were acquired by some megacorp 😅 It's just the same handful of nerds trying to make MMOs more fun! But it shows that we still have work to do in improving our comms with the community.

But Retail WoW is so fun to actually play, especially the last several expansions. Even the duds like BFA and Shadowlands had their moments, and even the lowest points were still more fun for me than Vanilla in almost every way (and there were a few REAL low points, haha).

When I think back on my WoW experiences over the years, I do have some fond memories of Vanilla. But I never really liked the game very much, I just liked hanging out with friends I liked, and they liked the game.

I really can't fathom that anyone wants classic/vanilla WoW over modern retail. The game is so much more interesting in terms of gameplay design, with so much more focus on group coordination and skill. Why the hell would you ever want to go back to Frost Bolt spam? Lol
