I still only have a limited source of intel with regard to the major league Mets but my understanding & interpretation from what I've heard tells me they are still currently remaining patient at this time. Maybe that changes come July.

Here’s a lineup idea:
Batting Mark Vientos second could work well. Slotting him there would let him see more fastballs and fat pitches right before a hot Juan Soto, while also giving Soto better protection with Bo Bichette hitting cleanup.

What amazes me about this Alonso stuff, is before he hit the HR against the Brewers, 99% of Mets fans would've driven him to Baltimore to get him off the team.
