Hezbollah is launching Sayyad-107 Kamikaze drones against Israel. These small drones carry 8 kg warhead and they can travel up to 100 km (enough for northern Israel). The speed is slow - 120 kmph, but the size is so small that it is not easily detectable. The cylindrical fuselage with top mounted wings + two rear V shaped tail fins, Hezbollah has produced these drones in thousands. The Iron Dome is going to face tough time. Israel is already short of Tamirs.

Saddam tried for eight years and lost a million soldiers trying to take a few border towns. Iran is three times the size of Iraq, with 93 million people and mountain terrain that swallows armies. The U.S. needed 150,000 troops to invade Iraq, a country a fraction of the size, and still couldn't hold it. History has a very clear opinion on ground invasions of Iran. Everyone who tried regretted it. But I'm sure coalition planners knew all this before drawing up one of the most geopolitically complicated military operations in modern history. Right?...

This event happened in 2002. Despite being a confessed murdered, Levy continued his career, became the Israeli Police attaché in the US, and later a Member of Knesset, Chairman of the State Audit Committee, Speaker of the Knesset, and Deputy Minister of Finance. Before serving as the Jerusalem District Police Commander, Levy also served as commander of the Judea and Samaria District. In the same year he ordered the murder of a handcuffed Palestinian, Levy received the "Knight for Quality Government" award from the Movement for Quality Government in Israel and the Channel 2 "Person of the Year" award.
