To build housing you just have to remove red tape. That shirks Government. Which also saves tax payer money and allows for more housing. Remove fraud out of Medicare and you get more money to spend there too. It’s almost like you could jut do your jobs without raising taxes. Prove you can do your jobs efficiently. And we can talk about raising taxes later.

Today, I'm introducing my wealth tax — and more than 50 members of Congress are joining me. It’s time for the government to start working for American families, not just the ultra-rich.

Slight correction. The only reason the Democrats passed this was to make insurance so unaffordable for the masses that it would force universal healthcare. Which would give everyone but the rich worse overall healthcare. Remember this is the guy that bailed out the rich rather than the middle class. The ACA did have some good provisions. Insurance not being able to boot you and creating a basic minimum both are good ideas. Not forcing cross border buying, updating tort, price controls on drugs, Expedia for medical, transparency in pricing, having Medicare/Medicaid fully cover medical costs, etc … caused an explosion of healthcare costs.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

“The entire system is structured to perpetuate power.” That’s the core problem with Congress today. It’s focused on protecting incumbents, enforcing party loyalty, and sustaining the two-party duopoly—not on representing the American people and upholding the Constitution. Spoke about “The Two-Party Problem” last month at @richmondforum with @AndrewYang and @Sen_JoeManchin. What one change to the rules or incentives would you make first to actually fix it? Your thoughts 👇

You are correct the portal and NIL allows for the further corruption of the sport I actually love. We need to revamp both of those aspects. Granted this list doesn’t show that. This list shows how much teams spend on world class facilities, technology and coaches. Which you have an issue with? Weird.

Scott here is being factual (and given without context of course): Michigan is the first team in the B1G since 2024 to defeat all 17 other members in the same season. They might even be the only one to ever do this. It was a very impressive season. However to keep things in perspective - the following teams have beat all teams in the B1G in a season: Illinois, IU, MSU, Purdue, and OSU. Michigan is now finally added to this crazy stat. Good job Michigan! They are in good company. Only IU has beaten every team twice - and that for sure will never be broken due to the expansion.

It’s really the problem with NIL. It needs full transparency, in both the $ and the contracts. If there is a complex contract deal for example and a kid signs in 5 minutes after the portal opened. You know someone wasn’t following the rules. So it would at least stop this “tampering” storyline. It isn’t like MSU isn’t paying players - they have to or they will have no one on the roster. However I don’t see Izzo changing too much. You will need to want to play for Izzo. He’ll pay you - but you better be damn sure you want to be yelled at by a 5’5” Yooper who hasn’t thawed out yet. Because that’s not going to change. But these older coaches are not going to say things like DJ Dusty would, which to quote him tonight “…and a lot of great work by a lot of people have poured into this our donors, our administration, our coaching staff like we’re a team ourselves…” I just don’t see Izzo putting donors on the top of that list and calling them teammates. But the DJ knows what the future for Michigan is and it all starts with $ and then it flows from there as that’s how he wishes to run the program. Nothing wrong with that. This is the current environment. I just don’t see an old Yooper tin-cupping in that way. But pretending MSU is above paying players or even getting one hit wonders is absurdly Izzo worship.

@Gr33n247 Most estimates have MSU at a $5 million dollar spend and Michigan at a $10 million dollar spend. MSU also just secured $400 million for NIL spending so I’m sure your attitude towards spending overall will stay like it is right now.

I’m still waiting for the quote. Was it where he blame his team for not being able to guard the screens, allowing for the pop out corner shots? Which he said was the fault of the coaching? Was it where he said that UM is the best team in the B1G? Maybe it was when he said it was his fault for not getting Fears a bit of rest which resulted directly in two baskets? It surely couldn’t be the quote in which he said they made a few bone-headed plays. Like they’ve never played basketball before? Mentioning Coops hug at the end for example. Which quote we pulling from? You could say that he said Michigan had a ton of free throws. But to do that you’d have to ignore him saying his team had some stupid fouls leading to those. Because to have him “blame the refs” you’d have to remove that context. So.. the quote. Let’s have it… I’m actually curious as to which you will use. I’m sure there was one or two in there. He speaks in four letter words and simple sentences.

When Michigan was swept by MSU last year, Dusty admitted that they weren’t prepared for the physicality in the B1G. He made a significant adjustment and completely flipped the script. Izzo blames his team’s shortcomings on the media’s persecution of his PG. Accountability wins.

@sbell021 Scott, admittedly you are not one of my favorite follows. But I wish nothing but actual peace and happiness for you - not on MSU/UM or NMU/UM game days. But in general. Ignore these types of morons. They most likely don’t like the person they look at in the mirror.

I don’t think people understand how bad the environment is at Chrysler Arena… and it has NOTHING to do the fans. They cheer their ass off. The area kind of stifles the sound. When you play in Perdue, Indiana, Wisconsin, or State for example the places are built to keep the sound LOUD. When you get Chrysler rocking - you would be blowing actual rooftops off in other places. I don’t think this was backhanded. But maybe it was. Izzo can be good at those.
Michigan State Content@msucontent

Izzo just gave one of the funniest backhanded compliments “Pretty good environment, for here, pretty good environment.” 😭😭😭😭 🎥 @wilxTV

I’ve been in that position multiple times when I used to play. If you look at his plant foot it stuffers a bit while Cadeau was trying to use his body weight to put Fears to the floor. This can - cause your other leg to shoot out to balance your weight and his arms flail forward. This was all for balance. If you look at the one for Minn for example, there was no shove and body put on him. He wasn’t off balance. He kicked up.
