@Jeremyinakron17 In my experience young people aren’t any lazier than I was when I was young. They just need someone to lead them and push them. I had several young guys on my team that showed up early, worked hard, and were skilled but just needed some direction like most of us did at that age.

@Jeremyinakron17 I’m a metal fabricator and welder by trade. Have had a lot of experience in hiring for those spots as well. Big push to white collar jobs. The tech schools are a great alternative but in my experience they don’t train properly.

Just heard a story on the radio that said we still have a massive nursing shortage, we talked about on here last week we have a shortage of union carpenters, there’s a shortage of welders, and my father in law is a CNC Operator for Alcoa’s Aerospace division and he’s 72 and they keep begging him not to retire because of a shortage. Why is there such a huge shortage still in the skilled trades ?

@Jeremyinakron17 Young people would be better off going to a job and trying to be an apprentice. If I’m going to have to train you anyway they might as well not spend the time/money at a trade school and not learn bad habits on the way.

@audio_boomer @PattieRose20 @MarshaBlackburn As I said, you want blue states to continue to pay for red states, correct? This is your wish for the to happen? Or would you prefer blue states didn’t pay for the red states? You can’t have it both ways. Don’t be afraid to pick a side here.

@MiddleTNboogie @PattieRose20 @MarshaBlackburn Blue states are already footing the bill for what poor red states don't contribute to the federal coffers. I'm not for a National Divorce.. but if that makes the MAGA red hats happy, then go for it..

People are in pursuit of affordability, and that’s why they’re flocking to Tennessee. In Tennessee, we welcome new families and businesses as long as they check the blue state policies at the state line.

@Jr1776 @Puck_556_2 @ManifestHistory I’m sorry this is my home. I actually encourage natives not to sell their homes to transplants, but so far y’all have been quick to take the money. It’s a dance that requires 2 people after all.

@MiddleTNboogie @Puck_556_2 @ManifestHistory We are nice. We are nice to your face. We still want you to go home. Even if we like you as people. We want our kids to be able to afford a house more than we like you raising the property values.

Correct. Blue state conservatives are far more hardcore than Red state conservatives. Heck man I fly the Cross of St Andrew on my house next to the Tennessee State flag. We’ve actually lived in a literal blue hell hole before and we don’t want that happening here. I understand the cities expanding is annoying but for a 200 mile stretch outside of all major cities here there is literally nothing. This state is being well preserved at the moment.

@Puck_556_2 @ManifestHistory I only encounter that behavior online. Everyone I meet in person is very nice and likes me. I find it odd a small but vocal group of online “southerners” are so weak that they talk shit behind a screen but never say anything to peoples faces. Very unbecoming and sad.

@HereditRebellio @ManifestHistory Exactly. People for some reason think that everyone who lived in California was some hardcore leftist.

Tennessee gained over 330,000 hard Right voters while the Left lost over 120,000 voters (they moved out of state) within the time frame of 2022-24 alone. Domestic migration of conservatives from Blue states made this state even more blood Red than it already was The real issue is Republicans not addressing the issue of invasion “migration” of which all non-White races literally being allowed to FLOOD Tennessee cities vote hard Left. Everything from 2022 to 2026 proves its not domestic migration that’s the issue, it’s foreign invasion
