@maycausewanderl @TheDetourEffect @RTWBarefoot Italy is VERY regional dependent. You're not getting the same thing as in Sicily as in Rome or elsewhere. My family is Tuscan, and we don't have the same traditions that someone from down south does. I've had fights with friends over 'correct' tomato sauce.

@TheDetourEffect @MikeOffTheMap @RTWBarefoot I’ve only had a canola once - in Italy, but not Sicily. It didn’t have ricotta filling: it was some sorry of creamy paste that was maybe made with pistachios (just a guess). Didn’t love it. The ricotta filling sounds much better, tbh

Well, friends… It appears that my season is over before it really even started. Just got the news I’ve been dreading for weeks. My ACL is torn. Pour one out for me tonight.

@TheDetourEffect Just kind of fell off after a few years to be honest. I was working my regular job more, doing more on IG than blogging, also the community started to get saturated, toxic, and just the vibe changed. It wasn't as fun anymore. People were looking for quick fame not storytelling.
