@MkHmmr

Bearded. Old. Likely smells of cigar smoke. Will go the extra mile for my friends, but will probably make fun of you for it.

@MosiniElisa lol, dishonored soccer. Too funny. You don't respect your own soccer governing body or the rulebook. You feel the need to lash out, we get it, and we're used to that attitude from insecure europeans. Par for the course.

Americans still don't get it. This isn't about winning or losing, it's about the integrity of the game. Belgians, like Europeans in general, genuinely love and respect football. You've tainted the sport with cheating and political interference. You've dishonored football.
Dave Portnoy@stoolpresidente

As a proud American let me be the first to congratulate Belgium. You guys were the far superior team. Granted I can’t tell if you guys are any good cause we are so pathetic but you beat us fair and square. Now in hindsight doesn’t all the bellyaching about Balogun playing seem silly?

@NickAUSGRIT I love how these guys are so insecure that they're still lashing out. It's not so much that we're overly arrogant or insufferable, it's that your jealousy puts us up on a phycological pedestal too high for you to reach. Also, we clearly understand the rules better than you.

Why the whole world hates team USA? 1. Their supporters are insufferable 2. The team is arrogant, a US trait 3. Their supporters have NO IDEA of the rules of FOOTBALL 4. Their paedophile president is a BULLY who shook down corrupt bitch Infantino 5. A clear red card was reversed

I have spoken with Graham Platner about the best path forward for Maine. In light of these very serious allegations, I have recommended that he step aside.

The sad part is, much of Europe ISN'T better than this. That said, the good ones are really good, and they're as disgusted by their neighbors as we are indifferent. Also, the Japanese are always awesome. Even before the WC, I've had the pleasure to interact Japanese tourists in Florida. Those are consistently great people. Such step up from the usual Canadians.

The anti-American hatred from Europe after Team USA’s loss is sad. We welcomed you into our country. We bought your drinks. We sang your songs with passion. We did it because we love you. We still do, because we know you’re better than this. God Bless America.

@hubyszn Kids play it, then move on to more popular sports or other careers outside of sports. Soccer isn't getting our top tier homegrown athletes, for the most part. It's just not a thing here.

The USA is embarrassingly bad at soccer considering how massive of a country they are. Like how do you have that many people and yet are still straight buns at the most popular sport in the world. Brutal look

Now that the US is knocked out, I am formally extending an invitation to the American people to support Norway. Why? 1: The Vikings discovered America before Columbus. 2: There are more ethnic Norwegians in the US than in Norway. 3: Next weekend we can pillage the English peasants together. 4:

@HistoryGame_V @JoueursBE Okay, Twinkles, that’s enough fanboying for one night. You really need to get the drooling under control. Saint Bernards have less saliva. And better breath. Do they really not have tooth brushes over there?

@LeonKrauze What’s wrong with a president making a phone call on his player’s behalf? If Obama or Clinton did the same you’d be calling for a Nobel Peace Prize

@TraderWolfe @JoueursBE Yep. Didn't watch it, but I heard the US team was crap. I'm currently disappointed in a more important game loss - the Rays to the Yankees, 5-1. At home, no less.

How big a crisis is this for Infantino ? Very, very big. FIFA can manipulate World Cup hosting votes and get away with it, but for many member nations when it potentially manipulates the result of a World Cup quarterfinal that is beyond what is acceptable.

@louderry I'd agree. Soccer is silly. But it does bring in some money, and that's useful to buy beer. And having the Japanese over was nice. Excellent people. Which made up for having the europeans over. So whiny. Except for the Scots. And Freddy. Meh, it's a wash.
