We got VINTAGE LeBron James last night!! LOL Leaves his teammates to play defense alone while he stays on the other end of the court cherry-picking, they get the stop and pass it to him on the other end, he’s fouled, pretends he stepped on a land mine, hops on the ground, writhing as if he’s experiencing intense labor pains. Why does this dude respond to pain like this? Mfers all over the world ive seen take 10x the impact and get back up. I saw a 10 year old this past weekend break his finger on a fall and the kid barely winced, got right back up and ran down to play defense. He was 10. He’s like an injury exhibitionist. He has to put on a show so people can say “and he hurt his wittle elbow” 41 years old and still responds to pain like a pussy

We already knew this but it’s more damning when a player admits it, that coaches like Kerr, Donovan, JJ, etc, think that this pick-up game offense is somehow good for the game. I love Kerr but he ruined this game.

Here's Ayo Dosunmu talking about what he's reading in pick and roll coverage and why he's taking more midrange shots in Minnesota after those were prohibited in Chicago. "In Chicago, midrange shots was really prohibited. It was 3s and layups, no midrange shots unless it's the end of the shot clock. Here, we got Rudy, he's setting big screens. So if you can set up pick and roll, you come off Rudy, you open." Dosunmu took 4 "long" midrange shots in 45 games in Chicago this season before being traded to Minnesota. And he's taken 12 in 15 games for the Wolves. Dosunmu has also nearly doubled the frequency in which he's taking shots from floater range. Dosunmu took 86% of his shots in Chicago at the rim or from 3. In Minnesota, he's becoming a three-level scorer. And his eFG% has stayed almost exactly the same.

Leaving out context and calling it “FACT” doesn’t make it the full story. 😭 Michael Jordan had a stable organization and roster for most of his run. LeBron James came into a lottery level Cleveland Cavaliers team at 18 and had to build everything from scratch. And saying “on the back of Kyrie” ignores that LeBron led the 2016 NBA Finals in points, rebounds, assists, steals, AND blocks, something nobody’s ever done. If we’re talking facts, include all of them… not just the ones that fit the narrative.
