We stopped this 🚗 M6 SB J13 due to mobile phone. Driver pretended his wife was in labour & provided false details. We saw straight through them and found them to be disqualified with 50,000 counterfeit cigarettes in the boot. Not today❗️ #OpLightning #Team4RCT

Multi agency/ multi force Checksite on the M6 today. Lots of vehicles brought in throughout the day. Lots prohibited from continuing until faults rectified. Some dangerous. All items need to be secured. Plonked in the back just isn't sufficient.

A Jaguar failed to stop for us in Tamworth resulting in a pursuit around Wilnecote & Stoneydelph. Unable to lose us the Jaguar decided to go off road onto the cycle tracks. Due to safety we didnt not follow. Jag found abandoned short time later. Plenty of forensics to ID driver
