@birdabo Well. If you use calculator, then you don't have to calculate stuff in memory, and you are loosing ability which is not needed. Question is, do we need to be able to code or do we need to undestand the domain / environment / requirements. These are different skills.

A small ship I love: We made Claude.ai and our desktop apps meaningful faster this week. We moved our architecture from SSR to a static @vite_js & @tan_stack router setup that we can serve straight from workers at the edge. Time to first byte is down 65% at p75, prompts show up 50% sooner, navigation is snappier. We're not done (not even close!) but we care and we'll keep chipping away. Aiming to make Claude a little better every day.

@ipla03 I'd add a custom no-restricted-syntax rule using AI to forbid using useMemo/useCallback. If DoD includes "lint must report no errors/warnings", this will effectively catch all issues.

Doesn anybody has a skill for Codex to let it know that i'm using react-compiler and that many things shouldn't be wrapped with useMemo?

genuine question for react heads, which of these is most performant? Consider that we may have thousands of them all receiving new x y props on each frame.

Macbook Neo разобрали и нашли внутри нечто странное Блогеры Tech Re-Nu провели разборку нового бюджетного макбука и удивились его внутреннему устройству. Они обнаружили, что это самый ремонтопригодный макбук за всю ее историю. Главным удивлением стало полное отсутствие липкой ленты, которой Apple долгое время любила злоупотреблять при сборке. Весь ноутбук легко разбирается за 6 минут, а из крепежей используются лишь три вида винтов Torx — T3, T5 и T8. Крайне небольшая материнская плата, аккумулятор, динамики, порты USB-C, разъем 3,5 jack — всё это имеет модульную конструкцию, запросто откручивается и прикручивается. Также в Neo реализовано упрощенное крепление клавиатуры, которую теперь можно запросто поменять, она больше не считается частью топкейса (нижней части корпуса). По сути, мы наблюдаем первый по-настоящему ремонтопригодный Macbook в истории. Несомненно, его покупатели будут очень рады, что починка не будет стоить как половина девайса и провести ее можно буквально своими руками.

Но можно заменить оперативку, потому что она не распаяна на плате. Этот ноутбук неремонтопригоден, но его можно апргрейднуть.
