💥🍊Thank you, Mr Andrews, for your video testimonial. It was a pleasure speaking with your Yr10s, Yr11s and Parents. I’ll never grow tired of helping people to help themselves.🍊💥 #thespeakerwiththeorangetie

It’s not everyday you get a poppy from a Princess 😊 Akeem who’s 3 was very chatty when Kate unexpectedly stopped to say hello at a maternity mental health visit so she gave him her remembrance poppy. Thanks Liberty from Colham Manor primary and Akeem’s mum for letting me share

The simplest tasks can make for excellent retrieval practice. This game of Noughts and Crosses was very well received and appealed to their competitive nature. Students liked being asked to retrieve knowledge from their previous unit.

Going from a school where I couldn’t wear a pride badge… to a school that bulk order 100 pride lanyards and send an email to all staff about the meaning of our flag! 🏳️‍🌈🌈 #LGBTQ

This is amazing news! Living in a digital world as an adult is hard enough at times, let alone growing in one and having to navigate and interpret all information available to you at such a young/vulnerable age. Can’t wait to see the finished result! #PSHE #DigitalLiteracy
Revealing Reality@RR_research

We’re delighted to have been awarded funding from the @DCMS Media Literacy Programme to work with the superb @PSHEassociation to seek to increase children’s motivation and ability to tell fact from fiction in their social media feeds. 1/5

Amazing & informative training from Rethink Periods! ✅ Teach everyone ✅ Show a wide variety of products ✅ Be aware of period inequality ✅ Show students periods aren’t embarrassing, they’re normal! Get booked on a webinar, you won’t regret it! #PSHE #RSE #rethinkperiods
Southern Water@SouthernWater

"The @CitytoSea_ training really opened my eyes to lots of things I was previously unaware of." Our partners have visited 271 schools across our region, training teachers to talk about plastic-free periods. Find out more: ow.ly/N5rP50JNH4T

@MsWilsonPD At the start of the academic year some of the schools we worked with had deep dives where PSHE was looked at in detail but not specific PSHE inspection. As everyone else is saying in this thread PD is also being scrutinised in general inspections so best be prepared.

@MsWilsonPD It can't be deep dived in isolation but PSHE lead can be questioned as part of pd deep dive. So it's only a technically "no". This was updated fairly recently

@caroline8779 @Ofstednews This is the plan. We’ve literally only just been inspected, but as the new lead taking over I don’t want to let the side down next time round! I suppose it’s better to be prepared and not need it, rather than the other way around!

@MsWilsonPD @Ofstednews Ah, glad you liked it 😊 I think prep for an equiv. of a deep dive. We had inspection last week, PSHE lead was seen with DHT under PD. Similar questions to a deep dive and lessons visited.

@MsWilsonPD No but it can be explored as a wider PD strand and its contributions to it, ofsted are meeting with PSHE HODs more now than ever before, obv they could still come into pshe lessons.

@PsheSpecialists Thank you so much! We are mainstream, but in September we are opening an SEND setting on site too. Is it likely that the mainstream setting may be included if the SEND site is deep dived?

@MsWilsonPD Latest guidance says no, it won’t be a deep dive but will always be looked at under personal development. Deep dives might still occur in AEND settings, PRUs, other alternative provision where PSHE will require considerable adaptation.
