People replying that it is as simple as supply and demand - babe, have a look at the profit line for property developers or the benefits of land banking, look at what privatisation has done to our bills, or stranglehold of big agri - nothing to do with immigration and all to do with capitalism. Reform and their flags will solve none of the above.

@narindertweets My mum is just on the definition of relative poverty. In real life she isn’t, she’s having a lovely life at 90. My son is a NEET and classed as in poverty, he isn’t. Trouble with measuring relative poverty as 60% of a median, there will be people who below artificial poverty line

Letwin emphasised that build-out is constrained by “absorption rates” (i.e. how fast homes can be sold without lowering prices). Also ⬇️
