Good morning to everyone in Massachusetts who agrees that the managers in Maura Healey’s administration have done nothing to deserve a second pay raise in just six months—a 2% salary increase for approximately 6,500 executive branch managers that will cost taxpayers another $10 million. This administration has done nothing but raise taxes, increase government spending, and drive up the cost of living. If anything, these managers should be facing pay cuts—not pay raises. Their poor leadership has made life more difficult for working families across Massachusetts. They should feel the same financial pressures and challenges as the hardworking people they claim to serve.
