AI has enormous potential—but only if small businesses can actually use it. In today’s Small Business Committee hearing, I pressed AI and tech experts on what it will take to help small businesses responsibly adopt this technology, compete fairly, and ensure the biggest players don’t get to dictate their future.

Veterans deserve answers. At yesterday’s hearing, I pressed VA leadership on VA staffing cuts that are costing America’s veterans and putting the timely, accurate delivery of veterans benefits at risk.

I am heartbroken by the killing of Joan Sebastian Guerrero. He was 26 years old—a husband and a father to a 3-year-old girl. My prayers are with his family, his loved ones, and his community in neighboring Maine. No family should ever lose a father this way, and no one should ever have to watch it happen. We need a full, independent, public, and swift investigation and accountability. Now. America’s law enforcement officers do dangerous and necessary work—mission-critical work that can only be done well and faithfully with the trust of the people America’s law enforcement swears an oath to serve. That trust is built on professionalism, transparency, respect for human life, and accountability. Right now, that trust is being extinguished. And I will not quit fighting until we get answers, accountability, and safety for every community in the United States of America.

The affordability crisis is not a hoax.

Fear can be contagious, but courage is too.

In the year since President Trump made the biggest cuts to healthcare in American history, millions of people have been priced out of their healthcare. This is existential – it’s about people’s lives and livelihoods. I will not quit in the fight to make sure every American gets the healthcare they need.

I hear this question everywhere I go: "What can we do?"  Now more than ever, we must stay engaged, stay organized, and never underestimate the power of people working together to strengthen our democracy.

No corporation is above the law. From my time in the Antitrust Division at the Department of Justice to now as your Congresswoman, I will always hold powerful corporations accountable, strengthen competition, and lower costs for hardworking families.

Military readiness depends on giving our servicemembers the tools to do their jobs, not forcing them to wait on unnecessary bureaucracy. Gen. Gering confirmed that Marines have waited 8 months to repair a vehicle component they could have fixed themselves in 4 hours if they had access to the necessary repair data. Marines also built a communications mast for $10 that outperformed a contractor version costing $5,644. We already own this equipment. Our Marines should be trusted to maintain it whenever possible, not forced to wait on contractors who control the repair information. That’s why @RepGoodlander and I introduced an amendment requiring contractors to provide the repair data our military needs unless they can demonstrate a legitimate reason not to. It passed @HASCRepublicans by voice, with bipartisan support. This is about military readiness, responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, and ensuring our servicemembers have what they need to accomplish the mission. It’s now part of the House NDAA awaiting a floor vote.

President Trump’s wars of choice have jacked up costs for every American.

In New Hampshire, we need to build more housing, and we need to do it fast. Grateful to meet with housing advocates, builders, and business leaders to discuss how we can build more homes, lower costs, and bring the American Dream back within reach for Granite Staters.

On the eve of the NATO summit, I was grateful to meet with Finnish Ambassador Leena-Kaisa Mikkola to discuss the strong partnership between the United States and Finland, the importance of NATO, and the shared democratic values that unite our countries. 🇺🇸🇫🇮

Dental care is healthcare. No American should be living with untreated dental pain because they can't afford care.  I was grateful to join Forrest and Strategies for Disability Equity to hear directly from Granite Staters about how we cut red tape and break down the barriers to care that too many Americans are facing today.  In Congress, I’m fighting to deliver you the care you need when you need it – and I will not quit.

250 years ago, freedom-loving patriots declared that all are created equal. The Declaration of Independence is a promise that has always called each generation to build a more perfect Union. The challenges facing New Hampshire are too important for politics as usual. From my very first day in Congress, I’ve worked to bring people together to lower costs and crush corruption. Our bipartisan housing bill is on its way to becoming law—and we’re just getting started.

In America, NO ONE should be profiteering from public trust.

No small business should be forced to hire an army of lawyers to get money back that was corruptly taken from them by President Trump’s unconstitutional tariffs. I will not stop pressing this Administration until small businesses get their money back — money that never should have been taken in the first place.
