@Zedzies @atranscendedman Wow… treatment of cats seems to be further than treatment for humans. Thymic hormones seem to be universal…….

Duke University 964 participants. In people with long COVID, 15 or 25 days of Paxlovid did not beat the control for brain fog, autonomic symptoms, or post exertional malaise by day 90. The 25 day course also caused more side effects. clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT05965…

@atranscendedman Cat owners literally know how to treat chernic coronavirus infection. The whole things is a fucking joke. How is that “we’ll hear from ARPA-H in two weeks” going RFK and co?

25D is an irrelevant storage metabolite. Have to check the active metabolite as proxy for VDR activity: 1,25D. 1,25D can also be hydroxylated via the alternative extrarenal CYP27B1 pathway in activated phagocytes (inflammation). Vitamin D appears low in these people because its upconverted to 1,25D so more 25D is like pouring fuel on the fire. VDR knockout mice remain lean with an obesigenic diet while VDR overexpressing mice add fat stores.

@Zedzies I highly doubt it as well; just due to how vit d plays into other processes that help with immunity, metabolism, and mitochondrial health; in my humble opinion.

@NPjpk I doubt it but I’ve seen so many unconvincing attempts to correlate with things like seed oils yet vitamin D levels plot almost perfectly against it.

What plots better against the rise in obesity than the vitamin D gorging supertrend?

@Zedzies Well, I can tell you out of 10 patients tested 8 of them are low. Don’t know the accuracy of this and don’t know how it correlates.

Got a note from my new doctor that said I had kidney failure. I think taking creatine daily has screwed with the numbers. Going to omit for the next three weeks and then retake. Never had an issue before.

@CoffeeBlackMD Brother, it’s legit. I so didn’t want to believe it but the data and clear headedness doesn’t lie. Use to take me 30-45 min to fall asleep. Literally, when I take it 15 min and I’m ready. Deep sleep is 18% longer. And I can actually remember dreams again. It’s weird

Epitalon ordered and on its way. We shall see. It’s not that I don’t believe everyone but you don’t understand how bad my shift work messed up circadian rhythm is. So I don’t believe everyone. I hope y cynicism is proved incorrect.

@SpecialSitsNews Notice that post came out at 4:11. Futures spiked than gave most of it back into futures close. Methinks that these pumps are quickly being ignored for now.

@JCanNuSH @TakeWeightOffMD @DrNadolsky Just do DPC… same thing. And you can talk or deal with the same provider… People will eventually learn. The same question I pose to these people are where they send you if problems arise.

For the same monthly membership fee at @DrNadolsky ‘s Vineyard Health, you could be directly assigned to a single board certified obesity doctor to manage your care and with whom you can directly communicate. Plus dietitians, strength training programs, etc. And word on the street is that they’re great at navigating insurance too. $150 is a lot for a telehealth that doesn’t provide direct access to consistent care from the same doctor on a regular basis.

@SPuro88 It’s not a gift. It’s a utensil to make your work easier and more efficient (no more writing it twice because those BIC pens are known to shot blanks often)

Saw a patient who brought me a pack of pens. I asked what are these for? He goes, “I saw some crappy Bic pen in your pocket last time. You’re a doctor, the stroke of your pen is important. You need a good one.” Save your criticisms of accepting gifts. I’m keeping the pens.

I’m pretty sure I was aware of this. I’m using TRT. Not even as big of a dose aa hubes. It doesn’t come up all the time. Is it supposed to? I guess I don’t affiliate with, sell, or sponsor any supplements. But idk. This looks like outrage trying to find something to be outraged about. Whatever.

Thiamine-thyroid hormone interaction and functional status, just some reading and relaying T3 increases PDK4, suppresses PDC, suppressing pyruvate oxidation (downstream of glucose oxidation?) for fat oxidation. Thiamine still used just differently (second screenshot) Hyperthyroidism increases thiamine use/depletes thiamine at a greater rate (same could said for other co-factors and nutrients for metabolism, majority if not all, third screenshot) Hypothyroidism causes functional thiamine deficiency due to decreased stomach acid and impaired thiamine absorption

@DrJesseMorse @cremieuxrecueil Dissolving blood clots isn’t always a good thing mr twitter doctor, if it’s too good at clearing them to where it stops blood clotting then a cut from a kitchen knife could kill you.
