@Snowbind1 It's mostly just for performance tracking and bookkeeping > Which would then be later reported to investors

@Snowbind1 That's understandable. The issue is, even if they were part of the same label, they would still be split and separated internally anyways, it's not about being the same under 'Hololive', it's about segmentation and management clarity. Separate KPI's/Budgets/Strategies.

@powdury @KitsuraNines Basically what happened in the first place. People were harassing the model artist, model artist then decided to go after you after people said they wouldn't buy the model due to association with you.(They weren't going to buy it anyways.)

@EllyRedacted The VTuber space has always thrived on drama. It's high-school mentality, queen bee mentality and most importantly, every group of VTubers is always a clique. I've not seen a single group that naturally doesn't become clique-y over time.

Even the VTuber blacklist accounts have beef with each other. The accounts that are meant to keep the space safe and people aware have DRAMA WITH EACH OTHER. This space is so cooked, gang. The VTuber label is just straight up embarassing now. What are we doing.

@KanikouEstellia @Keniisu I think most obvious example would probably be Filian. I sometimes hear the term 'VTuber-adjacent' when it comes to VRC creators. Which makes sense, I do think it is important to make an distinction.

@KanikouEstellia @Keniisu I meant people who only do VRC content. There is definitely some overlap, but I do not consider most VRC creators to be VTubers, there's completely different cultures. VRC creators could get away with stealing and pirating models. That would not fly at all in the VTubing sphere.

@EllyRedacted @Twitch True, from what I've mostly seen, even having an 1:1 ratio is a bit off. Let alone large streamers, even smaller streamers usually teeter below what is actually shown, but it should also be noted that the number in brackets also does count chat bots, like nightbot/streamelements

To be fair, that tool is pretty ass anyways in terms of live views vs lurkers, it's not very reliable. I only still have it because it gives some other cool functions for Twitch, like latency display and pinning favorite streamers to the top. But even ignoring the bracket numbers, my point definitely still stands. I completely agree. Botting is a huge problem, and I'm getting pretty tired of it.

Caught a view botting streamer red-handed today. I've had a weird gut feeling about their supposed success for a while now, and today I was definitely proven right. However, even after a report, @Twitch deemed it a non-violation. Watch this and tell me, am I the crazy one here? @Twitch @TwitchSupport Your report system is flawed. I want an option where I can send the full-screen recording as evidence, and actually have a human review it, not some AI bot. This is a partnered streamer doing this, and I'm starting to be quite convinced that they did not earn that badge honestly.

You are in the entertainment industry. You are either entertaining and can make it work, or you don't. This is a you issue, not an company issue. Your attitude here is exactly the thing corporations look out for, because you are a massive liability.

Good morning. Let’s address the elephant in the room that no one wants to address. The absence of Black, and Black presenting VTubers in major corporations like VShojo, Nijisanji, hololive, AND POPULAR INDY GROUPS, CLIQUES…isn’t just an oversight it has structural consequences. When the most popular corporations and vtuber groups, with largest platforms, with the biggest marketing budgets, sponsorship pipelines, and built-in audiences consistently lack Black representation, Black VTubers are effectively locked out of the primary avenues of visibility and growth in the industry. These corporations function as gatekeepers, as well as their talents. They control discoverability, brand legitimacy, and access to mainstream exposure. Without Black talent in those spaces, the market becomes saturated with the same narrow image of who a “successful” VTuber can be. That concentration of power limits upward mobility for Black creators and reinforces a monopoly over attention, resources, and opportunity. Representation at the corporate and mainstream levels isn’t just symbolic it determines who gets amplified, funded, and normalized. When Black VTubers are excluded from those ecosystems, the playing field is not equal; it’s structurally imbalanced. Now with that said i want you to name at least 3 Black presenting Vtubers that are commonly know to have been a part of a major Vtuber group, or Vtuber corporation. Your answer to this question is why we have to create our own spaces to be seen.

I said this before. TOS's are not legally binding. They are almost always good faith policies. You are assuming power in something you don't have. Let alone how completely unprofessional you have been handling this.

A message from Team Chaliz to our community 🤍 First, for those who may not know us well — Team Chaliz is a four-person independent creative team. We are not a company or a corporation. Lizmeta is a passion project that we built from the ground up, and it has now served over 1,400 creators. We're genuinely grateful for every one of you. We want to take a moment to address some recent discussions and share where we stand. Our model is not a conventional digital product — it functions as your virtual identity, your face online. When viewers see your avatar, they naturally associate it with the creator behind the technology. This means the way our model is used in commercial content directly reflects on our brand and, more importantly, on the entire community of creators who share this ecosystem. Recently, we received feedback from multiple users expressing concern that certain commercial content created with our model was negatively affecting the community's perception and atmosphere. We take this feedback seriously. As the original creators and rights holders, we believe our responsibility goes beyond simply selling a product. We have an inherent obligation to protect the creative ecosystem that all of our users are part of. This is not about adding new rules after the fact — it is about upholding a principle that exists in any creative licensing relationship: commercial use of someone's original work should not cause harm to the creator's brand or to fellow authorized users. We also want to be transparent: as a small independent team of four, this is our first time navigating a situation like this, and we acknowledge that our initial communication could have been handled more carefully. We are a small team of four, not a legal department. We are learning as we go, and we appreciate your patience as we work to get this right. However, the core concern remains valid — multiple users reached out to us with genuine concerns, and we had a responsibility to address them. We are also aware that some of our authorized users have recently been receiving negative comments discouraging others from purchasing or using our model. We want to clarify: our concern has never been about controlling anyone's personal opinions. As we acknowledged above, our initial communication on this matter was not handled as carefully as it should have been. To be clear about our actual position: what we seek to manage is how our original creative work is used in commercial contexts — not what anyone personally believes or says through their own channels. We want to reiterate: this has always been about the use of our model — nothing more. This is our original creative work, not the buyer's original creation. You are free to express any views through your own content, other models, voice, text, or any other medium. We fully support freedom of expression. We simply ask that you do not use our model to create content that harms our brand or community. Managing how our own work is used is not the same as restricting anyone's freedom of expression — please do not confuse the two. To our creators: please do not let these comments discourage you. We stand behind every one of our users, and your right to use and enjoy Lizmeta is fully protected. That said, we are updating our Terms of Service to make these principles explicitly clear for everyone going forward. The updated terms will apply equally to all users, and as is standard practice across digital platforms, continued use of the model will constitute acceptance. We have addressed the specific situation privately and will not be discussing individual cases publicly. We remain committed to supporting all creators who use Lizmeta in good faith. Thank you for being part of this community. Your trust means everything to us. If you have any questions or concerns, our DMs are always open. 💙 — Team Chaliz

Cutting all ties with Tectone I've known about everything even before it was a lawsuit, as far back as Q4 2024. What he did to the victim was incredibly disturbing & unforgivable, any reasonable human being with the slightest hint of morals would feel sick to their stomach when they heard the full details. Over the last year+, Tectone has attempted to rebrand himself as a patriotic American who deeply cares about God, country and family. Grifting himself into an entirely new friend group, all while deliberately targeting a new breed of followers who'd defend him no matter what. He made sure of this by constantly training and preparing them to hear bad things about him, twisting reality into a fanfiction about how people were only after him due to his "political beliefs", even though he was "innocent" and just wanted to be "left alone". Any time someone would bring up what the victim said about him, he'd say that he had lawyers going after her, that it was only a matter of time before the court would prove his innocence, and that an Onlyf*ns wh*re should never be believed (Mind you, he was the one who encouraged her to make an account there in the first place! And he would often gloat about it to other gacha content creators!). Well Tectone, the final court hearing lasted for 7 hours, and throughout it all, even after having spent an obscene amount of money hiring an ex-judge that had been appointed by the governor of Texas himself, as well as 4 other extra attorneys assisting him, you managed to catastrophically lose to 1 woman who simply hired 1 lawyer, in a case where the odds were heavily in your favor! Listen carefully when I say this: I know women who have tried & FAILED to get restraining orders against stalkers that endangered their lives DAILY, all while presenting substantial EVIDENCE. You know what's crazy though? This was NOT even a restraining order, this was its upgraded version used for exceptional cases: A protective order made on the basis of s*xual assault. It's something that's EXTREMELY hard to prove, and the fact that the judge gave him a whopping 10 YEARS is unprecedented(It's usually 2 years!). It truly shows how much of a danger he was considered in regards to her safety, but of course he'll choose to downplay this as some sort of left vs right political martyrdom, as if he's Johnny Depp and she's Amber Heard 🥀 The official court order is now finally public, you can see the main details and verdict in the tweet I quoted down below. Transcript will follow very soon, but I will not mention or share it, as it most likely contains some extremely personal details for both parties involved(Medical records being one of them). Let it be known that from this point onwards, anyone still caught defending Tectone is purposefully ignoring facts for what most likely is a desperate & pathetic attempt at gaining favor or clout. As for me, I'm sure you might be wondering, why did I choose to only speak up now? Well, it simply wasn't my place to do so. But more importantly, protective order court cases are infamously difficult for the victim, especially in the state of Texas, saying or even hinting about ANYTHING, could have very easily endangered the entire case for her. Furthermore, seeing that Tectone is most likely a psychopath, who also happens to be a schizophrenic (who doesn't take medication) and had* a sizeable gun collection, I couldn't even pretend to completely cut ties with him, the victim was in constant daily fear for her safety, and I wasn't about to make it worse by having him become even more paranoid, especially since he constantly threatened to leak videos taken of her without her consent if she dared to speak out against him. And finally, to really put salt in the wound to any of the same tired excuses that will undoubtedly keep coming out to defend him: No, the victim did not do this for clout, seeing that she has way more followers than Tectone, she also most definitely did not do this for the money, seeing that she makes significantly more than him too(something that really pisses him off!). This was simply done because the guy couldn't stop mentioning and slandering her every single time he went live(seriously), and because she had a genuine fear for her safety. You know what? I'd say that's warranted, given that after losing the case, he'd go as far as leaking private court documents to his discord moderator, who then leaked them to the public through his discord server, which in turn doxxed her current residential address to god knows how many people! Very classy! Nice job man! Good luck with your "appeal"! In the end though, I hope that the victim can finally live her life free of this very sick man's clutches. I also hope that the law eventually catches up with all those who deserve it. Thank you for your attention to this matter, -Mujin P.S. I also need to mention that your politics mean less to me than the dirt under my shoe. I am not an American citizen, I don't hold a green card, and I don't even have a U.S. tourist visa. I don't have a political horse in this race because your country means absolutely nothing to me, so don't even try to twist it that way. And fun fact, you can dislike Hasan, Mizkif and Tectone at the same time. This isn't a football match, stop being tribal like a Neanderthal and make your own decisions instead.

🚨🚨🚨@Tectone UPDATE🚨🚨🚨 The official protective order was filed with Travis County today, as well as Tectone's affidavit confirming he knows he can no longer possess firearms! Here are the highlights from the documents: - The court finds there are reasonable grounds to believe Tectone both sexually assaulted and stalked Pink. - The court believes it is likely the stalking would persist if he is not legally barred from it - The protective order persists until January 23, 2036 - Tectone will pay $15,000 in Pink's lawyers fees - Tectone can not share ANY photos/videos of Pink with anyone - Tectone cannot communicate with Pink directly or indirectly except through her lawyer - Tectone cannot engage in any conduct that is "reasonably likely to harass, annoy, alarm, abuse, torment, or embarrass" Pink directly. - Tectone cannot go within 200 yards of Pinkychu or her residence or her place of work - Tectone cannot possess or receive firearms.
