For many of us here, Sara Duterte's statement is lumang tugtugin, ampaw messaging, total BS. But this narrative isn't meant for ~us~ obviously. It's meant meant to sow enough public doubt to discredit the impeachment proceedings.
And it might work. Core DDS supporters will double down, and those on the fence may begin to second-guess or worse, start gaslight themselves: Is this still worth pursuing, given the widespread uncertainty we're dealing with?
