this is beyond frustrating because it centers the man's desires, again. like everything else, we have to listen to the male solution to a problem. and what's the solution usually? it's always cutting something off. women find it frustrating because it treats everything with bluntness, not because it isn't sweet to them that someone is trying to help. most women admit they know men are trying to help, but that is not always the end result. additionally, it comes across as condescending. where exactly in biology is it shown that women are poor problem solvers? most of the time a man's solution is almost barbaric, or it addresses the wrong problem.

The internet constantly tells women that men are terrible listeners because the second a woman starts venting about her day, the man immediately interrupts to offer a logical solution. We are taught to view this as him being dismissive, emotionally unintelligent, or invalidating our feelings. ​The strict, unpopular truth is that to a man, fixing the problem is his absolute highest, most desperate form of empathy. ​Women vent to connect; we want our partner to just sit in the dark with us and validate the emotion. But men are hardwired to view the woman they love being in distress as an active threat. When he immediately offers a spreadsheet, a strategy, or a solution to your problem, he isn't trying to silence you. His brain has recognized that something in the world is hurting his partner, and his immediate, visceral instinct is to assassinate the thing causing you pain. We constantly shame men for "not just listening," completely ignoring the fact that his attempt to fix your life is his most profound declaration of love.

This is EXACTLY why people are DONE with Facebook Marketplace… 📦 She literally listed two egg chairs for FREE. Not discounted. Not negotiable. FREE. Clear picture. Clear description. One chair had a cushion, one didn’t. That’s it. And somehow… it STILL turned into chaos. Message after message, people asking questions already answered, trying to negotiate a price on something that costs $0, acting confused over the most basic details. It went from “I’m giving this away” to pure frustration real fast. That’s when she snapped, FULL rant mode. And honestly? A lot of people are saying she just said what everyone’s been thinking. Because, how does “free” still turn into this much drama?? At some point it’s not even about the item anymore… it’s about dealing with people. Be real, has Facebook Marketplace become more stress than it’s worth? And what’s the most ridiculous message you’ve ever gotten trying to sell (or give away) something?

It seems like the whole the “Ticketmaster queue” thing has become another manipulative marketing strategy. How do you go from 1 million people waiting in the queue for concert tickets to not selling out and having to heavily mark down the price of your tickets? This is the clearest sign of botting I've ever witnessed.
