@LumpyTheCook The early 2010s had this weird habit of trying to blur the lines between single-player and multiplayer. Brink and Destiny did that. I can't this was beginning of popularizing the live service model that's still a plague on gaming.

Titanfall 1’s biggest flaw was that they insisted on keeping the campaign mode (the one with all the extended intro/outro cutscenes) multiplayer only instead of making it some sort of bot mode. No one would have been upset with that
