@RacingPost Surely there is time to transfer this to another track? @BHAHorseracing

@SkyNews He says, “no more Mr Nice Guy”.
He wasn’t a nice guy in the first place.

BREAKING: Donald Trump has threatened to attack power plants and bridges in Iran if they reject a peace deal.
The U.S. president accused Iran of violating the ceasefire agreement by firing at ships in the Strait of Hormuz yesterday.

@BBCNews So if they are cutting staff by 10%, will they be passing on these savings by cutting the license fee by 10%?

£8.15 for a pint of lager @Beverley_Races is bloody scandalous. The very last pint I’ll be buying here at that price. @RacingPost @RacingTV
English

@NevilleKent @Beverley_Races @RacingPost @RacingTV That’s going rate unfortunately.
£9.25 pint in O2 London.
£9.40 in hydro Glasgow.
Will be £10 before long in entertainment venues.
English

@ZackPolanski This must be out of date because diesel is £2.05 at Ferrybridge services and £1.84 for unleaded.
English

@Beverley_Races @RacingPost @RacingTV I go racing a lot and let me tell you that you’re on your own with this. I’ve never even paid £8 for a pint on a racecourse. Even the little coffee shop has closed. Very disappointing return.
English

@NevilleKent @RacingPost @RacingTV Hi Neville, Birra Moretti is a premium product and we thought long and hard about keeping it on our drinks list, as it's price point needed to be over the £8 mark. We carry a wide selection of beers, lagers, ale etc, all of which are priced under £8.

@Sir_NickFaldo It’s a great stress reliever until after a great drive, your second shot goes into the pond or you have the dreaded 3-putt!

14th April, 1976 — the day I turned professional.
50 years ago today!
Looking back, it’s incredible to think where this journey with golf has taken me. The highs, the challenges, the lessons, all of it has shaped my life in ways I could never have imagined.
Golf has given me everything!
So today, I simply want to say…
“Thank you to golf.”
I’d love to hear your story too.
What has golf given you?

@its_The_Dr Knowing my luck, the fly would have been on the other side of the ball.

Lovely story that both dual Grand National winners @AintreeRaces in the last 50 years are both sired by 2007 @EpsomRacecourse Derby and @yorkracecourse International winner, Authorised. 👏

@tommysantos14 You’ve missed capital letters and the F-word. And the phrase, “…like never before.”

When Trump pussies out tonight, his message will go something like this:
"I am pleased to announce that Iran has agreed to save the lives of its great and wonderful people and make a deal! Therefore, I am postponing the Total and Complete Devastation of their bridges and nuclear powerplants for one week. There is still a chance for Iran to become a respected country, the likes of which the world has never seen, if they do the right thing. We have already won this war, Totally and Completely. Do the right thing! Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
What do you think? Did I miss anything? 😏

I support this letter.
We don’t have to have affordability checks when they decide to hike petrol prices by 30p a litre or crank up energy prices when they feel like it. @DCMS @lisanandy @Ed_Miliband @BHAHorseracing

British racing has today sent an open letter to the Secretary of State for @DCMS, Lisa Nandy MP, calling on her to pause the introduction of affordability checks on having a flutter. #BackBritishRacing #SaveOurBets

@FatPunter @DW_AtTheRaces @TByrneBHA @BHAHorseracing I was @Southwell_Races yesterday. Good crowd, weather was ok. Track had done a good job putting on entertainment for all and there was more options for food and drink than normal. Yet I saw people streaming out after race 2. The sport should be asking “why are you leaving now?”
English

No racing north of Wolverhampton today, we've seen huge crowds at meetings this weekend too. Easiest for me to get to, not the cheapest, would to fly NCL/DUB and bus to Fairyhouse.
This can't be right surely @TByrneBHA @BHAHorseracing

@DanBriden The time was very good for a 2yo this time of year and only just over a second slower than the older horses.
