So equally implausible to be able to get away with denying benefits.

@louysworld @Happyme2020P @realstewpeters Based on what I read, the VA would have to essentially say the service member was actually dishonorablly discharged, that they were not on active duty (how did they deploy then?), or their death was a lawful punishment. It would be a massive scandal to try using a loophole.
