🚨 I am demanding Speaker Burrows remove James Talarico from the House leadership positions he (indefensibly) appointed him to. Voters elected Republicans to lead the Texas House... not radical Democrats! Full letter: Speaker Burrows, Shocking statements and videos of Representative James Talarico have made national headlines, including him declaring there are “six genders,” asserting that God is “non-binary,” and using the Biblical narrative of Joseph and Mary to justify elective abortions. While his holding these liberal positions is shocking to Americans newly acclimated with him, you have been well aware for years that he holds these extremist positions and that he has pushed to legislatively enact them, such as his efforts to force public schools to teach DEI and hire DEI officers at taxpayer expense. Many of his radical statements were made prior to the start of the 89th legislative session, when Rep. Talarico helped elect you as Speaker. Indefensibly, you rewarded Rep. Talarico by appointing him to multiple positions in House leadership: making him Vice Chair of the Committee on Trade, Workforce, and Economic Development and Vice Chair of the Public Education Subcommittee on Academic and Career Oriented Education (especially indefensible given his leftist views on education). With these Vice Chairmanships, he has significant power to shape upcoming interim hearings, and he receives additional taxpayer funds to spend at his discretion. By placing Rep. Talarico in House leadership, you gave him a platform that aided his rise to national prominence and helped lead him to the Democrat nomination for the U.S. Senate. While these appointments were inappropriate at the time, they are untenable now. Conservative leaders across America are rightfully rebuking Rep. Talarico’s extremist views, but, as Speaker, you are uniquely able to take action. On behalf of my constituents and the millions of voters who gave Republicans the majority in the Texas House, please consider this to be my formal request that Rep. Talarico be stripped of his Vice Chairmanships and removed from the Education Committee. Immediately. If you believe it’s not within your power under the House Rules to do this, then I ask you stand up select committees with the same jurisdiction and membership (but without Rep. Talarico) where you’ll send all interim charges and official responsibilities for the remainder of the 89th session. We’re in a battle for the future of Texas and America. There are NO checks and balances against Congress as a body as our framers intended and cannot be trusted to police themselves as they are protected by: Congressional Immunity; secret taxpayer slush funds to bury sexual harassment and assault claims; exempt themselves and their staffs from laws they impose on all other Americans; they can criminally refer and jail you while committing infinite crimes and cover ups; push endless hoaxes and criminal leaks that have torn this country apart; steal taxpayer money through family members who create fake NGOs, fake charities, and fake non-profits; engage in insider trading to influence votes or as a result of pending legislation; accept cash payments prior to votes on the floor; avoid financial oversight and individual audits; incite violence through endless dangerous rhetoric and dog whistles for their foot soldiers to take action against their enemies; Congress is full of intelligence operatives, assets, and handlers, not just among the staffs but also among “elected representatives;” alcohol and drug fueled sexual deviance is rampant within our sacred halls of Congress and in some cases as Eric Swalwell can attest, prostitutes and fancy dinners are provided by lobbyists who freely roam from office to office with bags of cash for votes; foreign assets also roam the Halls of Congress freely as spies and infiltrate offices to compromise, control, and influence votes...or film gay pornography in Senate hearing rooms as democrats are guilty of; foreign invaders with fake identities who have committed immigration fraud upon entering this country and again by marrying their sibling, along with student loan fraud and other very serious financial crimes can hold a seat in Congress and on the most sensitive committees such Ilhan Omar; members of Congress can lie, leak, run fake committees with manufactured evidence such as in the J6 show trials and then hide their criminal conspiracy by destroying evidence of their wrongdoing such as with Adam Schiff and Liz Cheney, along with many others; Congress can conspire with fake whistleblowers who are actually intelligence operatives and assets from previous democrat administrations and change whistleblower rules and regulations solely for purposes of engaging in a treasonous coup and seditious conspiracy to take down a duly elected president who is looking into their crimes; foreign relations can be damaged beyond repair causing major wars and conflicts as with Ukraine and Russia after 10 years of the Russian Collusion Seditious Treasonous Conspiratorial Coup for which MILLIONS have been killed, maimed, and psychologically scarred...utter devastation, depletion of American weaponry and military stockpiles, along with endless pilfering of taxpayer money which claims to be propping up Ukraine but ends up back home in the pockets of dirty politicians as Zelensky himself said he couldn’t account for where much of the money has gone; if you are a dirty member of Congress who has been a foot soldier in EVERY single seditious and treasonous conspiracy perpetrated upon the American people, you not only get promoted to Senator from Congressman but also get to take your oath early before the official swearing in for everyone else to further protect you from criminal investigations for which there is massive evidence of your endless crime sprees as is the case with Adam Schiff; I could continue by listing all of the instances of “smash and grab” regulation and legislation for which dirty politicians such as Nancy Pelosi enrich themselves with kickbacks by assisting Presidents such as Obama and his best buddy Mary Nesbitt take control over educational institutions such as University of Phoenix and others which has proved quite lucrative for the former President as Nesbitt purchased Obama’s Hawaii compound in a secretive “trust” in 2015 for the Obama family to enjoy post presidency and transferred ownership to Obama after Trump was out of office in 2021.
