I've always been confused by the Old Glory Club. What are their politics? Why are some of their members smart, actually "based," and cool, and while others are GOP sycophants. This article, while not directly addressing that topic, does help me to understand what they see as their audience. They split the "Right" into four camps. The moderate establishment are NeoCons, the really radical anti-MAGA crowd (including everyone from Groypers to "Third-Worldists") are "Maroons," in reference to the fusion of red and brown. The Patriots and Hardliners are the two camps this article is attempting to reconcile, and they are described like this: "Captive Dreamer is pissed at Tucker Carlson and a lot of his guests, most recently Joe Kent. Pete Q. thinks all of the Plan-Trusters are retarded. The Hardliners have Tom Woods, Mark Mitchell, Darryl Cooper, and Curtis Yarvin, while the Patriots have Nick Land, Patrick Casey, Mystery Grove, and John Doyle. We don’t need to pretend for the sake of propriety that we don’t understand who is in which camp. Suffice it to say, each camp contains a broad spectrum of people from the Right." This answers my question. The actual WN contingent are guys who probably like Pete Q, Thomas777, etc. The rest, apparently the vast majority, get their idealogy from basically everyone else listed above. This would explain why the article repeated cites the wisdom of a certain "Moldbug," and why it considers MAGA "the single most important political movement of the 21st century." The article also attempts to unite the Hardliners and Patriots by repeatedly pitting both against Groypers, which it insists is a group with "no path to power" which begs the question, why keep attacking them? I am no Groyper, and I've made that point known constantly. However, it is VERY obvious that the OGC, and by extension, everyone they see as an important leader of the "Right," basically launch lazy attacks on Fuentes as a way to bolster their "Right" credentials. They do address people to the right of Fuentes, but when they do, they include a monumentally insane statement, which I'll copy below. "The disagreement is being treated as fundamental, however, to the point where the genuine right wing in America, which is absolutely not the Republican Party, is functionally deactivated. Whether or not one is a Patriot or Hardliner, however, it must be recognized that the Republican Parties of the 50 States are the only mechanism by which Heritage Americans will be able to secure their natural rights as Americans. We know what the so-called “Retard Right” looks like when it has practical means of civic engagement — that’s just the Alt-Right of a decade ago." This is the real goal of the Old Glory Club. They want to create an independent organization that is NOT the GOP, but does, oh-so-conveniently, always back the GOP and believes the GOP is the only "mechanism" that "Heritage Americans" (aka, white people, since I'm assuming they don't include Natives or blacks) can achieve anything. This is the real reason they are so mad at Fuentes, and all "Maroons," who they literally refer to as "genuine fifth-columnists," because this article believes that the anti-MAGA far-right wants to get people to vote for Democrats. Sure, they say this was an empty threat from Fuentes, but still, what does it tell you? To the OGC, it is not a cardinal sin to support the war with Iran. The only sin is voting for the Democrats. Whether or not they want to admit it, they are a GOP fan club with a slightly edgy aesthetic. After all, what inspired them to publish this article? Apparently, Trump is in a battle against the "NeoCon Zionists" who are trying to "seize the state back." Personally, I think they're doing pretty well, considering the Bush-era fever dream of wars America has been plodding through. The OGC's impassioned call to, to effect, unite the Right, has proven to me that it's just a Trump/Vance fan club at best, and a GOP auxiliary at worst.

I stand by the restart. Having barely played the game, it is far preferable to spend the next 20+ hours of streaming on a fun gaming experience rather than LARPing as a tryhard. We can tryhard once we aren't bad. You don't play Halo 2 on Legendary your first try.

This doesn't make any sense to me. The Chinese have thousands of spies in the US, are operating bioweapons labs on US soil, have dug in with drug and human trafficking in Maine, and essentially own the Canadian government. There are many, many things that can be done to weaken China that have nothing to do with Iran, and most of them would directly benefit the USA on the USA's soil.
