Definitely NOT magisterial but perhaps the first systematic review is by William Burroughs: appended supplement chapter to The Naked Lunch. Could have been written yesterday. Very technical and insightful. Lots of sociology applies today. @OPARProject @Ilovepigenetics

@rupertoverall You and team would get a kick out of the hyper complex genetics of sex-linked EIEE9 disease—a mutation in PCDH19. Not directly related to this cool study though. Liping Luo has a great 2016 paper on chimerism of two types in females.
