Without saying anything, how long have you been playing video games?

@fesshole Did that a lot. Now he’s older and plays with friends I kind of miss it.

I absolutely hate playing Minecraft with my kid but I do it because I'm trying to be a good parent.

@Raasclark @DBlast77 I’ve never seen Atlas, never played Atlas and my measure of new creatures is simple. Are they fun? do they add to the game? We are so fortunate to have modders who add so much whether it’s maps or creatures and Ark is so much better for that

@Nekatus @survivetheark I have nothing but admiration for your work, Ark would be a much poorer experience without you. I hope you know how appreciated you are by the majority. Who cares where the asset is from, I’m happy to see any new creatures that add depth to the game atlas assets or not

@GPxGP I thought they were testing a lot of mods alongside the release but maybe that was just when they did the UE upgrade

@ObsessedArk @GamesnRoses @survivetheark For now it seems some mods may have gotten fucked on CurseForge, 3 mods updated as I booted my server right after the patch, and ever since that combination the problems started. Heard some of the Paleo ARK EVO Mods are the cause, really sucks, can't play at all now.

Seen the item dupe check message on my nitrado Web UI but I don’t have that setting enabled and I can’t load onto my server so not sure it’s that simple #ARKSurvivalAscended @survivetheark

@Allyslayernl @GamesnRoses @survivetheark I’d love to know what the issue is, I’ve taken my nitrado servers down because I can’t even load into the game without crashing. Then I watch content creators play without issues and wonder what they do that I don’t 🤷‍♂️

@GamesnRoses @survivetheark You know what is weird, Lost Colony caused less problems than a map update, wonder what the heck they did that screwed it up so bad, none of my servers load the proper save, they all make new saves.

@Nekatus @survivetheark @Nitrado My game crashes as soon as I load into the server (Nitrado), it may be mods causing the crash but if I remove creatures mods and dino depot I lose most of my tames so I’m just waiting and hoping

@survivetheark Even after 83.4 my nitrado servers either crash on load or freezes after a few seconds, my SP crashed and wiped my character. I don’t know what I can do other than wait

Can’t load SP either, just get white screen on Lost Colony map

Installed 83.4, rolled back my server and it either crashes straight away or freezes after a minute or so. Not sure what I’m supposed to do beyond just not bothering to play. The game makes me understand how you can love and hate in equal measure #ARKSurvivalAsended

Can’t play on my nitrado server, can’t play on my single player. Both just crash within seconds of loading. No idea why. #ARKSurvivalAscended

I’m far more excited by the Astraeos expansion than I was for Lost Colony. I didn’t hate LC I just don’t see me going back it to it, it’s a shame because it had some nice features it just didn’t grab me the way I hoped #ARKSurvivalAscended

@GPxGP I'm not sure actually... but I hope gigas bite will reach em... we do have 300+ pts melee gigas now in official PVE... maybe it's enough to chomp down brontos hp without needing to hit the weakpoints now😅

Progress of maybe 6hrs of work so far. Reworked The Island lighting system, lowered fog!, all rock materials and colorgrading. Might become a free modded map since I have quite some fun here and its good practise. @survivetheark #playARK #ARKSurvivalAscended

I try not to be negative but it’s tough when a patch makes your game worse. My dinos look terrible, blocky and deformed. It’s just not good. #ARKSurvivalAscended @survivetheark

@Nekatus @survivetheark Overall I enjoy ASA. The 5.5 maps are much better but lighting is the single biggest issue visually. Optimisation still needed, shouldn’t need a £3k PC to play. Lost Colony is a struggle on solo, outposts are stupidly hard, City is barely playable fps drops, my pc struggles
