I can really see myself in one of these.

One of my favourite stir-causing cameos at a top-end concours came in 2021 when this Marcos Mantis slithered through the priceless assemblage. A model that is not universally loved, for sure, but probably rarer than most of the concours contenders.

Come for the Caravaggios, stay for the Mantas! Photographed this beauty at the Valletta Concours d'Elegance on Malta in 2019. This event always serves up a wide range of incredibly well preserved or restored classics. The 2026 event is on 24 May, I'll be there for sure.
