Found this just now. That’s my first bike - a Suzuki A100 I spent a summer working as a waiter to pay for. Took this with an Instamatic when I was half way through my first ‘tour’ down to Devon. In a freezing November. Had to be pried off it at the other end. 🙄

Still thinking about this grogeous BMW 2002 Touring in Inka that I saw at the weekend. Gorgeous thing.

Never seen so many pre-war Astons as at the @ecuriebertelli 50th birthday party. And such important ones , too, including A3, the oldest extant (and which I drove a very long time ago).

Gutted not to be in La Sarthe this weekend for the Le Mans Classic Legend and a proper look at the revamped museum. Here's the 2014 convoy I went down with, including James Page, Martin Port and Greg MacLeman Just out of shot is the much-missed David Evans, who adored the event.

Just found this studio shot of my old Piper P2 (last spotted in a European museum for "odd" cars). Can't remember who took the picture, most likely James Mann or Malcom Griffiths. It was styled by the artist Tony Hilder, who sadly passed away in 2023, very slippery and quick.

Jensen news! Thanks to James Godfrey-Dunne, work on my car has restarted. As you can see, the years of nothing happening under the **** who had it before have not been kind and the challenge is now far greater (and the costs much higher) as a result. Bitter? Me? You bet.
