@PH0ENIXdev @Bloxy_News yup this is precisely why, there are many predators on roblox that will lure kids into their private condo games using Team Test. They often have "studio only" in their bio. Here's an example since I know someone will try to tell me it never happens. Notice his favorites too.

Starting in May, an age check will be required to collaborate in Roblox Studio using Team Create. If you and all members of your team are 16 or older and age checked, these new requirements will not impact how your team can use Team Create.

I think they just need to understand minimizing risk without removing key mechanics to their system. Kind of like how some teachers back in school would punish the class instead of one kid, it's basically hurting everyone for something a very small group of people are doing, condos are basically a thing of the past, if they are literally so forgotten that they need to hide in the files of roblox studio, I'd take that as a win. It's not public, It'd have a lesser chance of being with an actual child with how you need a PC to access studio, and more than likely you have to join some discord server to even get access to one, which even that is becoming more moderated through ID verication and such. If protecting almost everyone from condos means that a small chunk of people still access them, fuck it, that's the closest we're gonna get to getting rid of them.

@SGC_jjplays2 @Bloxy_News That'd go wrong fast. Imagine someone under the profile of a developer sends you a game link, possibly asking for a review or bug test, they send you the map file, you open it and boom your entire account is wiped off the map.

Although yes condos are bad I feel like this is kinda stupid, I haven’t looked too into the update yet but needing to age check studio users seems a bit overkill, Studio requires a PC and some knowledge to even open, so I doubt a kid could be lured into something like that, when the baseline is like a $800 PC

Taught 2 elementary classes about Roblox at career day—how they could make their own games. We built one together in class with AI. The kids sent me a card and the teacher tells me kids have reported building their own games!
