As is the tradition in the Commonwealth, I was part of the "dragging" party to take the new Speaker to take Oath together with Rt Hon Nabbanja, Hon Ali one Odria, Hon Akol, and Hon Wanyoto @BusogaTourism

My dear SG @DaudiKabanda,what is the rush in issuing letters? What happens when CEC and caucus endorse Among and TT? Will you issue another letter? Let us not belittle the revolution and start looking confused ,we started this Journey from far for Gen. @mkainerugaba presidency.

Dear Sam my brother, I respectfully challenge you on this. I find it rather misleading. The rule of the thumb is, study, graduate, leave home to start a family. You don’t want your raise your children in a muzigo. Whether a single bedroom or a bungalow or an apartment, it remains a muzigo. I was the most affected when your landlord evicted you from his house in Muyenga. It was traumatizing. Somehow it became a blessing because you were motivated to build and occupy your beautiful house. I hope to pay you a visit soon onsalireyo enkoko. Cheers to you!

If you want to know what it means to be blessed here is your proof. I make a tweet, and someone takes it, adds my picture and brands my ideas for him to make money online. The person doing this knows what I say matters! God I thank you for who I am and where your grace have taken me. Amen 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Today, I chaired the final Cabinet meeting of the outgoing government and later hosted members to a luncheon in appreciation of their dedicated service to our country. This is the Cabinet that ushered Uganda into middle-income status, and I thank everyone who contributed to this achievement, including the Cabinet Secretariat for effectively managing the business of cabinet. I thank them all and wish them good luck.

@Timelessthemes Bro you need to bless God for whatever u passed through. Most suffering we go through builds a strong foundation upon which our lives become deeply anchored. I pray God's favour and blessings upon your family 🤝

MY FIRST CHILD ARRIVES. I MEET MY FATHER-IN-LAW. I will keep this direct because I know most young men out there fear this part most so I will not sensationalize it. In January 2024, we moved in together. No parents knew. No relatives. No announcements. Most people my age wait until a pregnancy forces the issue. We moved in before anything like that. Before we even tested the so-called forbidden fruit. I had no doubts that I wanted to marry, and that she was the woman I wanted to be with. I loved her simplicity and lack of sophistication My dating life had been a long, hard lesson. I had always wanted to take my time. To study someone. To move carefully. “Too much haste splits the yam. The hunter who stalks too hard may lose the prey.” But somehow, I was always the one who lost in the end. From what I had seen, many women preferred charm. Smooth talk. A bit of performance. Men who could bend the truth about their lives, the so-called bad boys. Every time I chose honesty, I paid for it. This time, I did not change. I told her plainly, I had no money. In the first weeks, I gave her 30k. She refused it. She told me, “You found me in a good place. Don’t try to prove anything. Just prepare yourself and we start staying together.” I asked about her parents. She said we would inform them later. I did not know then how difficult her father would be. She knew. That is why she chose that route. I first took her to my parents. Easter 2024. My father saw her and gave his blessing immediately. That gave me confidence. A few months after we had settled, she became pregnant. By then, I had already left my first job and taken on work at two schools. One income was not enough. I wanted to carry this responsibility properly. I worked day and night. At the same time, she kept in touch with her mother. That woman made things possible for us. Without her, I doubt I would have entered that home. She understood quickly. When she heard we had already moved in, she did not fight it. She supported us. Her father did not know until about six months later. During the pregnancy, I stayed present. Every antenatal visit, I took her myself. We never missed. She never fell seriously sick. I followed everything as it was supposed to be done. I also respected their traditions. Her mother would send herbs, and we used them. Nine months later, on 10th February 2025, our son was born. I had still not properly met her father. When labour started, I called her mother and told her to come to the hospital. Later that day, her father came. That was the first time I met him. It was not the kind of meeting you prepare for lightly. That night we were admitted. Around 3 :00 AM, the doctors advised a C section. I signed the consent. They took her to the theatre. I remained outside. About 15 minutes later, I heard my son cry for the first time. Everything changed in that moment. In July, I finally went to her home officially. That is when the real negotiations began. They told me the dowry was 20 million. I kept my ground. The elders did what elders do. We settled at 9 million. With the benefits I had already realized. This wasn't too much. 😁
