While so many people are out partying their hearts out in Hot Springs after Arkansas Derby Day…I decided to get a quick dinner from the Taco Bell drive thru, head home, and sit outside on the balcony taking in the peace and quiet. We had such a fun day at @OaklawnRacing today. 73,000 fans-a record!-and what a great edition of the Arkansas Derby. Thanks to everyone who came out in the area, and to everyone who supported and was a part of this day wherever you are. I wish I could show you the mental fatigue and exhaustion a race caller feels after a huge day like this. All I can say is I promise it’s real, and quite the butt kicker.
