Maybe it’s because I’m American but I can’t understand these European countries. Yall have terror attacks and threats almost all of which come from Iran and when the US steps up to handle it the strait gets clogged and you don’t want to step in and help secure your national stability? Explain it to me. it’s just wild to see yall look at global stability and shipping as a spectator sport.

It is not the fault of NATO that the US didn’t adequately prepare for the potential closure of the Strait of Hormuz before attacking Iran. Regardless of whether we support the war or not, it is on the American leadership. I’m sure General Caine and others would’ve stressed the possibility of the Strait being closed.

We are not an empire. We are a powerhouse all by ourselves. One thing you find out when you get older is who your true friends are and who are the people just riding your coat tails. In my opinion, I'm appreciative to every country who has shown their true colors because we have been saying "we are friends" with them for far too long. The 56-mile (90km) "yomp" undertaken by Royal Marines of 45 Commando (and parts of 42 Commando) across East Falkland in 1982. Royal Marines completed this arduous journey in three days. So no it's no great loss if Trump and his buffet boys don't like us anymore they can only dream of matching UK standards 😆

No, he still doesn’t get it. If you can’t secure shipping lanes 70% of the resources, goods and food the UK needs won’t arrive. If you fail to deliver energy and data security you can’t grow the economy or protect the NHS. If you don’t modernise our armed forces, you can’t deter conflict. They misdiagnosed me twice instead I was rushed into hospital in Bahrain requiring surgery, which they diagnosed straight away. IMO the NHS is a cashcow that needs overhaul to survive privatisation
