I've always thought V/Line pick up and set down restrictions are a pain in the arse, but there is logic to them for outbound journeys - but inbound trips the people who need seats already have them, so if there is space available anyone should be able to use it.

@fictillius would love to see friday and saturday night services return on route 90 in wollongong. they were cut at the start of covid and never returned, 90 is wollongong second most used bus route and saw large crowds on friday and saturday nights

@declanmartin75 Perth also has 85 stations with 15 min or better 7 day daytime service - ie 100% of the network. Whereas Melbourne has just 73 of its 222 stations with that service or better - ie only about 33%. The Metro Tunnel will get that to ~38% - far behind Perth and Sydney still.

I think this has majorly flown under the radar - but upon the completion of Perth's Metronet program, about 25% of the total network actually achieves 8tph (7.5min frequency) or better all day between peaks which is very impressive. 👏
