@Savageboston @BostonSportsBSJ @NickCRadio Problem with "draft and develop" players is that you never know how that works out, especially with Patriots and WRs, which they have historically been unable to properly draft and / or develop. To wait for that to happen could be years and multiple drafts

1) Would A.J. Brown be cool with being the #3 WR?
2) If we're talking about '27 draft picks, I'd think Philly would "bet" that the Pats would have better picks.
3) LA is willing to take all-in to the extreme or this is Philly trying to regain leverage after the Doubs deal.

A.J. Brown trade discussions are not dead. Last week, I was told the Rams discussed trading for Eagles WR A.J. Brown before dealing for CB Trent McDuffie. Dialogue slowed, but Los Angeles continues to monitor the status of the three-time Pro Bowler with interest. We’ll see where both parties go from here.

@Michael07477125 @MileHighMims I agree. I'm not a Denver fan, but honestly I don't think Denver would have benefited much from the FA class either. Their roster is pretty comparable with many of the player in FA. And they shouldn't oberpay others for slight improvement

This was a weak FA class, pure and simple. Supply/demand FA.
Teams like Washington overpaid everyone and will have to deal daniels contract soon.

Denver is obviously still gonna sign free agents here soon it’s just disappointing on how they treated FA so far considering all the comments they’ve made on improving this roster.
Doubling down on these mid-tier and garbage role players expecting things are gonna change is such a stupid mindset to have.
