AI is now designing peptides from scratch. not assisting. designing.
daiichi sankyo is using AI to build cyclic peptides. bioduro cut their discovery timeline from months to weeks.
pinnacle just raised $89M off this thesis
the next billion dollar drug probably won't come from a guy in a lab coat.
it'll come from a model trained on protein folding data
peptides might be the first drug class where AI genuinely beats traditional R&D. and it's happening right now

15 secrets the peptide industry doesn't want you to know:
1- 90% of "US-made" peptides are repackaged from the same 3 Chinese labs
2- Purity certificates are regularly faked
3-Endotoxin testing is skipped on 80%+ of research peptides
4- Half the "research chemicals" sold online are underdosed
5- Markup between manufacturer and end buyer averages 800%
6- Most "clinical studies" cited in marketing aren't peer-reviewed
7- Half the cited papers are rat studies dosed 50x human equivalent
8- Paid reviews dominate the first 3 pages of every peptide subreddit
9- The same batch gets resold under 12 brand names
Your favorite influencer is on payroll
10- "Limited stock" countdowns are fake on 95% of peptide sites
11- Vendor-provided COAs fail third-party retest 40% of the time
12- The most-recommended vendors are the ones with the biggest affiliate kickbacks
13- "Trusted vendor lists" are 3 years and 4 exit-scams out of date
14- Every "independent review site" is owned by a vendor
15- Reddit mods are routinely paid off to delete negative vendor reviews,
PeptideBase fixes this.

Fair question. There isn’t one peptide that’s universally ‘good, effective, and safe’ because it depends on the goal, dose, quality, and the individual.
Your skepticism around weight loss drugs is reasonable. Skincare peptides are definitely a more approachable category, but even there the evidence can vary, so it’s worth looking at the data and not just the marketing

@PeptideBase That's a very interesting and informative article 👍. What peptides are good, effective and safe? I am skeptical of weight loss drugs. But skin care cream with peptides sounds interesting 🤔
