Second time this week I've had an awful customer experience, this time with @Hertz. I had a rental car picked up from BWI, returned to IAD. Drove ~130miles with unlimited mileage rental, then Hertz charged me for mileage on top and 622 miles. Now they won't fix it. Typical.

@TMobileHelp has been the most useless thing on the planet. After incorrectly overcharging me $1100, then sending it to collections, they've had a case open to fix the problem for 3 weeks now with no contact or resolution. Typical @Tmobile experiences.

@elonmusk The piece you’re missing in your not so well reasoned argument is one of slippery slope. If AI systems start making decisions about “what’s best for humanity”, then what’s black and white becomes grey. All of a sudden, AI is deciding who is best to choose what’s best. Skynet!!

Given that the Gemini AI will be at the heart of every Google product and YouTube, this is extremely alarming! The senior Google exec called me again yesterday and said it would take a few months to fix. Previously, he thought it would be faster. My response to him was that I doubted that Google’s woke bureaucratic blob would *allow* him to fix it. Unless those who caused this are exited from Google, nothing will change, except to make the bias less obvious and more pernicious. Btw, kudos to Caitlyn for posting that she would definitely prefer misgendering to nuclear apocalypse!

@mwseibel @googlecalendar Yes. You probably hit some sort of threshold that requires a back off timeout before resending. It’s a gmail/gsuite mail problem rather than a Google calendar one, more than likely.

@Appyg99 Well, it actually is ok they aren’t first to market. The lead by Bing is minuscule and the evidence of just how easily prompt injection can create havoc with these existing models once you connect the to the internet, is disconcerting to say the least.
