He has been a commie all his life, banging on about the same stuff all his life. Didn't have these issues 30 years ago but yet he was saying the same stuff. Any excuse to get his life long agenda through. Fixing supply and slowing down migration (demand) does not suit. Read this

The real truth behind CGT and Negative Gearing changes in Labor’s budget wasn’t to help young people get into the housing market after all. According to the Treasury Secretary, Labor’s plan was to generate revenue and change the distribution of housing ownership rather than address the supply issue. You can’t trust Labor! They lie, lie, and lie a little more. #LaborLies #OneNation #Liar #Budget #CantTrustLabor #Tax

@ClareONeilMP What you inherit has had tax paid and was the result of decades of hard work. Sounds to me that you would like to tax it one day to "level the field".

@AshPolitik What a shit example, self defence reaction to unequivocally saying no changes for the 50th time. And if @AlboMP said if we ever get attacked I won't fire missiles, kick him out now. Absolute fool you are.

Governments must act on the circumstances of the day. A government that governs is better than a political party that campaigns. Change of direction, making the right decision not the popular decision, is a good government.

@AlboMP Maybe tax them less, slow down migration (demand), build more houses (supply). Limit CGT discount and NG to two, leave other asset classes alone. Reducing government debt would also help. The rest is all bullshit.

Pauline is tired of the hand out society - as she lunches with billionaires, skips parliament sitting and flies around the country on her $2M gifted plane from Gina Poor Pauline, her chips 🍟 are up while many of the genuine poor can’t afford nappies..

BREAKING: New numbers released by the ABS today show private sector investment is soaring under the Albanese Government. Capital expenditure has far exceeded market expectations, with billions more being poured into productive investments. New private capital expenditure (capex) grew very strongly at 6.5% in the March quarter – more than six times the median market expectation. It means capex is up 14.6% through the year. This is good news for Australian businesses and good news for our economy.

Let's not mention the lies. Just on principal, my word is my bond, no new taxes for the 50th time etc etc I will not give you my vote and anyone that does is an idiot for allowing our democracy to become meaningless. Respect democracy and take it to an election. What you have put together obviously lacks proper planning, by your own admission details to be worked out later on carve outs etc. The senate now has a responsibility to scrutinise in depth and determine the effects and tie that back to your claims. We will see how much all you "elites" really respect our democratic system.

Every Australian can remember a teacher who changed their life. The one who backed them, inspired them, and helped them see what they were capable of. That's why we'll always back our teachers. And it's why we’re fully funding every school in Australia. Great to celebrate National Public Education Day with teachers, students and school communities at today’s AEU event.

Here is @AlboMP in 1991. He didn't want to tax mum and dads or the young ones. He wanted to go after the top end of town, the top 10%. What happened? He is now the top end of town.

It remains an odd human characteristic that some people would prefer to unnecessarily throw money away & dislocate their lives all to cut their tax obligations by a few dollars. And Australia should not be worried, for everyone leaving, there is a queue of thousands wanting to live here
Adrian Cartland@taxinator

Shocked - but not surprised - at the number of clients who are planning on moving overseas as a consequence of the budget changes to CGT and trust taxation. I am fielding daily calls from HNW clients. And this isn't an emotional outburst: you call your tax lawyer to plan, not to vent. There is going to be a massive capital outflow from Australia.

You promised some of these tax cuts before the election and promised not to touch CGT and NG. Now you jave bundled promises and broken promises together in one bill. We already know you are not qualified, now you will show us all the other qualities that we despise in our politicians. Go for it.

Labor is delivering five tax cuts in three different ways. Tomorrow we’ll introduce historic legislation to deliver more tax cuts to Australian workers. If the Coalition votes against our tax cuts, they will be voting – yet again - for higher income taxes for millions of Australian workers.

@JEChalmers We don't care. Why don't you talk about the trimmed inflation which is what the RBA looks at and therefore influences rate movements. That's the one we care about Jimmy. Can you be honest and transparent? Well, trimmed inflation has risen. You know this but mum's the word aye?

BREAKING: New numbers from the ABS show that inflation moderated in April by more than expected. Headline inflation was 4.2% in the 12 months to April 2026, down from 4.6% in March. This was better than the median expectation of the market. While this tick down in inflation is welcome, it remains much higher than we’d like and that’s why it’s a big focus for the government.

@JEChalmers My favourite is the $1000 instant tax deduction. 39% of the workforce claim less than $1000. If you are in the 30% bracket it actually means you get $300 back. That's $300 dressed up as $1000.

Labor is cutting income taxes for workers five times in three different ways. It beggars belief that in the first term the Coalition voted against tax cuts and to block housing for Australians. Now they are showing all the signs of repeating the exact same two mistakes.

The 2026 Federal Labor Budget represents a complete repudiation on the election promises it held up. The @AuSenate must not pass the Budget Omnibus. It’s time the political class enforced the promises of government to the people of Australia. A Double Dissolution is the answer.

@auntyneville665 @AlboMP said "charging these companies more would undermine Australia as a reliable economic partner". It seems that the Australian people are easier to lie to, backstab and telling them "my word is my bond" means nothing.
