@CanonEMEApro Thanks for the reply - I am sure you are all photographers and know it’s impossible to shoot sports portrait for any length of time with no grip. Kills your shoulder - shame I won’t order this to replace my 7d ii ☹️

@Point_Photo Hello – you're right there's no battery grip available for the EOS R7. The camera remains compatible with EF-mount L-series lenses via the EF-EOS R mount adapter, and of course all RF-mount lenses, including those with super- and ultra-telephoto focal lengths 👍

@JohnVendetta1 @CanonUKandIE Try shooting portrait mode at a Sports event for two hours with a 70-200 attached without a grip. Impossible for me to hold my arm up in the air that long....

@CanonUKandIE I am really starting to regret not moving to another brand during the period when you were working on the R series. You fell so behind everyone else and I stuck with you thinking you would right the ship. Now you produce a 7D replacement that lacks the most basic of accessories!

@Point_Photo Hi there Paul. That is correct. there is no battery grip available for the EOS R7. The next one in the EOS R series of cameras which would accommodate a battery grip is the EOS R6

@CanonUKandIE Wow! I have had battery grips on everyone of my DSLRs since your second model in 2002 D60! Do you really expect people to shoot portrait for any length of time by holding their hand above their head. Totally unusable for serious photographers.
