ITS HAPPENING! Im getting flown on Sunday out to be on site for the last round of interviews for the Senior FPGA role! Granted, there will be 4 consecutive interviews when I am on site. But if the visit/interviews go well... Then I get the job. HYPE!

@retrotink2 @cyothevile @BirdyBro_MiSTer @ReverseRetro @MARSFPGA Agreed. @MARSFPGA dev folks... I have done 3 years of HDMI straight from FPGA IOB and believe me when I say it is absolutely not worth it. Save yourself the headache/LEs and use a dedicated HDMI TX IC.

Easier to throw your data to the hdmi transmitter, configure the damn thing over i2c and be done. Wish I could tell myself that 3 years ago 🤣

@Mathieulh @Voultar Are you referring to the mipi dsi interface or is there another source of digital pins to source video signals? 👀

@Voultar There aren't, there are plugins that allow video output via USB but you have severe bandwidth constraints that do not allow you to output in Native resolution at 60hz. Something HDMI doesn't have. Digital pins are exposed though do such a mod is technically possible.
