A few points about this clip of @MayorofLondon. 1/ Invoking Christianity as a reason to be tolerant of other religious expression is perhaps not a good idea when the religion in question is not tolerant. 2/ He’s worried these ideas are no longer ‘far-right’ but now mainstream. The real concern is that strategies to shut down legitimate debate about Islam are no longer working. 3/ Trying to use Rishi Sunak to shame the Tories does the opposite. He was voted leader on his merits, not his ethnicity. Same with Kemi Badenoch. As was John Major. This just proves the issue here is ideology not racism. What One Nation in Islam means is that everyone follows Islam. 4/ The chutzpah of invoking Jews and Hindus. Two groups who don’t fare well when it comes to the tolerance of Islam. Especially when Sadiq Khan has been partly responsible for allowing Muslims to call for the death of Jews week in week out for over two years.

The proposals below from @RupertLowe10 would be a great start — but his day-one plan must go further and gut the real cancer. The traitorous scum who enabled this Islamist invasion — from Blair the warmonger who opened the gates, through every Labour and Tory betrayer, right up to Starmer the spineless surrender monkey — must face justice to. Include the judges who let them walk, the police chiefs who buried grooming gang files and silenced whistleblowers, and every single authority figure who covered up legitimate fears about Islam while our kids paid the price. Then dismantle the lobby groups and foreign-funded networks that pushed it all. Ban the Muslim Brotherhood and all its front organisations outright — no more Trojan horses in our institutions. I was born in West London in 1980. My mum was Irish. My dad came here from Cyprus as a child after his family lost everything. He was the youngest of 10. They came to this country with gratitude, not demands. They respected Britain, worked hard, kept their heads down, and built a life. That is how I was raised. I was taught one simple rule: you either work or you learn. You contribute. You do not sit around with your hand out. My dad used to say, “If you ever sign on, I’ll disown you.” That was the mindset. Be thankful. Respect the country. Earn your place. Build something. So yes, it winds me up when I see what Britain has become. Not because I hate anyone, but because I know what this country is supposed to be. It is supposed to reward work, decency, contribution and responsibility. Instead, for years, we have had governments that reward weakness, tolerate abuse, allow people in illegally and expect ordinary decent people to just shut up and accept decline. That is why people like me are done with the same old excuses. And that is exactly why we need Rupert Lowe and Restore Britain. Because some of us still believe this country is worth defending. Some of us still believe Britain should put its own people first. Some of us still believe that if you come here, you should contribute. If you live here, you should respect it. If you take from this country, you should give something back. That is not extreme. That is the bare minimum. Restore Britain stands for secure borders, small government, national pride, free speech and direct democracy, under Rupert Lowe’s leadership. For me, that is not something to apologise for. It is common sense that should never have been lost in the first place. Britain used to expect something from people. Now it excuses everything and demands nothing. That has to change. So no, I will not stay quiet while this country is run into the ground. And no, I will not pretend the answer is more of the same. I was raised to respect this country, to work hard in it, and to give something back to it. That is why I support Rupert Lowe. That is why I support Restore Britain. And that is why I believe Britain can still be restored.

This girl is wonderful. She is sassy, stubborn, a true diva but also playful, loving and cheeky. She is such a comical little dog who fully believes she is in a different league to all other dogs and she comes to life when she is away from the kennels. Velma loves her walks (dry weather only, this princess does not do adverse weather conditions without slamming the brakes on, muttering to herself and giving you the dirtiest of looks.) She travels well in the car on the rear seats - she doesn’t believe in dogs of her elite standing traveling in the boot, the horror! Velma is almost fully housetrained, she has been spending some time at home with one of our kennel team where they have only had the odd accident at home so it won’t take much to get her all the way there. She loves cuddles on the sofa or chewing on a long lasting treat in her bed. Velma is very playful at home, she enjoys playing with all kinds of toys and doing zoomies. Velma sleeps all night and is generally quite a quiet dog, she rarely barks although she can have a bit of a grumble when meeting strangers especially if they go to touch her too quickly. She is easily won over with snacks and patience. Velma gets on with most dogs and enjoys meeting them out and about, however she is not afraid to tell them off if they push too far. We are however looking for her to preferably be the only dog in the home on foster purely because we need to minimize the risk of her injuring her neck before her surgery and during recovery. Velma is a wonderful funny lady who would love a lovely foster home where she can sunbathe daily, go on nice walks and have cuddles on the sofa. Velma requires a long term foster home for now - she is on a long course of antibiotics currently in preperation for her upcoming surgery. The "Industrial-Scale" Qualifications Fraud Scandal of foreign NHS workers Unqualified or insufficiently checked staff working in the NHS: Overseas nurses: 700 frontline NHS staff have been under investigation for their involvement in an alleged "industrial-scale" qualifications fraud. The scam allegedly involves proxies impersonating nurses and taking a key test in Nigeria, which must be passed for them to become registered and allowed to work in the UK. Another 669 Nigerian health staff, most of whom are already in the UK, are also suspected of test fraud, mostly nurses and midwives.
