The shipping squeeze on world's largest oil tankers has a primary cause and it is actually NOT the Iran War. Two years ago, a mysterious Korean billionaire predicted that Israel would attack Iran and started quietly buying Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), @ed_fin explains. After approaching the largest VLCC owners and making them "offers they couldn't refuse" (20% above market), he now controls a staggering 30-35%+ of (active compliant & bookable) VLCCs and started refusing to take cargoes unless firms paid him very expensive contracts. This has pushed VLCC rates to all-time highs BEFORE the Iran War, and has led to some analysts to say this this Korean billionaire-visionary was trying to "corner the market" in VLCCs (Ed acknowledges this term but does not use it himself). Now that the predictions of this man (Ga-Hyun Chung of SINOKOR) have come true, the VLCC market is at a critical juncture.... For the consequences in greater depth, not just on VLCCs but all tanker vessels, I recommend you watch Ed's full interview which is available below (some exceptionally unusual things are going on). For even more greater detail (much, much more), check out Ed's research service which includes his private X (Twitter) account. Discounted subscriptions are available to Monetary Matters subscribers until April 17th (7 days remain). @endurancetest @indepinvest @YouTube I hope you are wrong because if you think these promoters are going to pay the price if it goes to pennies, history suggests otherwise. Followers pay the tab and promoter moves on to the next promotion. Promotion is their primary business.

@indepinvest @YouTube The “appreciation” you’ve enjoyed in $ADUR is based totally on thin air and no revenue. All shareholder profits will be evaporated over the next 12 months bc this has been pumped on nothing but air

$ADBE has quite literally never been this cheap. 9.55x fwd P/FCF growing at a 20.6% CAGR over the last decade. Why wouldn’t $ADBE work from here?

@Quality_stocksA I listened to excellent pod by @TIV_Podcast and they opined it was a deal at anything under $400 (it was just under at time). They weren’t wrong, but I always wait for strong TA signsls, esp when sentiment isn’t based on something that can’t be easily disproven 🤷🏼‍♂️

Adobe $ADBE is currently testing its 200-month SMA, At 13x PE with double-digit growth, the valuation is disconnected from its fundamentals: elite profitability, capital efficiency and a fortress balance sheet If you are not buying Adobe here, you are likely never buying it

To my fellow $ADBE shareholders The stock price going down is actually great for us, let me explain; Adobe spends 100% of their FCF buying back shares At $239/share the annualized buyback yield just reached 10% Revenue growth also just accelerated to 12% Forward P/E is at an all time low of 10x If we assume 0% multiple expansion - meaning the shares will keep trading at 10x forward earnings, We will get a 22% CAGR from here - 12% from revenue growth + 10% from buybacks And this prolonged sell-off is also a great opportunity to lower our averages Now imagine the CAGR if we get rerated to 30x forward P/E... I personally believe the AI fears are overblown and that there is near 0% chance AI disrupts Adobe If you too are a long term shareholder and believe the thesis is intact - this is a great time to take advantage and build out your position

@4golfonline Isn’t the problem with this statement that 3D data like GEARS reveals that all good swingers do basically the same thing (or within a window) with regard to all the meaningful movements? Aka you and Greg’s swings are going to be very similar but very different than Lou A Stathole

The shallowing and steeping chat around golf swings at the moment is for people who clearly do NOT understand coaching Its fools talk by clowns 🤡 ANY good coach doesn’t care what move a golfer makes they only care about how all the moves work together and what they produce. Painful watching fools and clowns deliver you such poor info.

@jamesfloodiii @JunkScience Pure guesses are what science is all about! And just for the hell of it: Most scientist who dedicate their lives to the study of longevity opine it is the opposite, about 80% lifestyle, 20% genetics.

@JunkScience Pure guess, but I think genetics determines about 80% of your lifespan. You have some wiggle room with the 20% so you hedge by avoiding potentially harmful behaviors.

Arnold Palmer often smoked while playing golf. It probably helped his game by controlling anxiety. He lived to be 87, way past today's life expectancy. Ben Hogan was heavy smoker – reportedly as much as two packs of unfiltered Chesterfields per round. Died at age 84 – also well past life expectancy. Not advocating. Just pointing out the facts that show EPA hysteria about fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in outdoor air being deadly is not even close to being reality based.

@JunkScience Dovetails with my theory that there is a luck/randomness component to the aging process devoid of diet, exercise, or genetics. My great aunt lived to 102 and it sure wasn’t from any of those factors- simply dumb luck. And I could relate a zillion similar stories.

@TheoRetiker @ed_fin Sure it does. We see this over and over. How many @nytimes articles referenced the $2m toll without citing a source? If you don’t have 2 legit independent sources, it’s not news. Journalism 101. Iraqi WMDs all over again.

Anyone else notice that there are ubiquitous “reports” of Iran charging XYZ for crossing (spread by Iran) but if you speak to owners, there is zero indication that anyone is paying... or even considering paying? Do you people still believe in the tooth fairy, too?

Let this sink in...👀 $ADBE EPS estimates are rising, yes rising... We will get back to $270 or a 10% move higher from here. Next move could always be lower. NFA.

Checking in on $ADBE > 14 PE and 9 P/FCF (LOL) > 12% revenue growth (accelerating) > FCF/share up 19% > 37% operating margin > Accelerating AI revenue But the market still won't touch it. What's it gonna take?
