It is a great time for councils to invest in #publicgolf the game is so popular ATM so councils & communities would get a return on investment
So many public courses have had little investment which was no doubt one of the reasons for the decline in numbers pre COVID

This is a really good idea by Tom Hsieh. Would love to see this happen in SF and then modelled by other towns/cities/councils rich in public golf courses. Why not highlight them amongst their surrounding culture! Win for all parties. @jamogolf

Set up a nearest the pin comp in the short game area with the only instructions the winner chooses the next shot and go wherever you like.
They didn't choose any easy shots or good lies.
