@NicholasGe55401 @mazuma_kiws @suxesboi15 @renoomokri Did Abacha just said he will give Abiola his Mandate or it was Abiola that sponsored the coup that overthrew Shonekan his Yoruba brother? There was an agreement between Abiola and Abacha that after Abacha takes over he will hand over to Abiola.
English

@mazuma_kiws @suxesboi15 @renoomokri So Abiola winning an Election and Abacha publicly telling him that he will give him his mandate and later sending him to jail instead of giving him his mandate is " Abiola tried to slime Abacha". You guys have allowed tribalism to overwhelmed you people
English

@sunstyle86 @renoomokri Don’t mind Reno. Same Abiola entered an agreement with Abacha to overthrow Shonekan via the November 1993 coup. They had an earlier agreement that Abacha will transfer power to him afterwards. But Abacha refused and still sent him to prison.
English

@renoomokri Yes that's his opinion and we will not watch anything, tell tinubu to fire Bagudu abacha's right hand man
English

@BigSamDgunner @btunddej @renoomokri It was even Abiola that brought him Abacha to overthrow Shonekan. They had an agreement that Abacha will transfer power to him later on after the coup but na once Abacha change am for am. Lol
It’s an open secret. But Reno choose to spin narratives
English

@btunddej @renoomokri Yorugbas, you guys are never beating the allegations. Hypocrites and betrayers. The same Tinubu that was whining and dining with Abacha? lol, you’ll should come up with something else cos there’s no defending Tinubu in all these.
English

@thoughtsfromUSA @renoomokri @AkimKunle It was Abiola that brought in Abacha to overthrow Shonekan his Yoruba brother because he believed Abacha will keep the agreement of handing over power to him. Lol
@renoomokri knows this but instead choose to spin narratives. Lol

INEC Should Not Lose Sleep Over A Disgruntled Career Coup Plotter and Anti-Democratic Element
You can imagine David Mark, a former career coup plotter, who, according to Professor Omo Omoruyi, allegedly threatened to kill Chief MKO Abiola and said, "I will shoot Chief Abiola the day NEC pronounces him the elected President!", now accusing President Tinubu of being like Abacha?
Was it not David Mark and Abacha that planned the coup that ousted Ernest Shonekan on November 17, 1993?
When David Mark and other disgruntled factional members of the ADC bought a jalopy political party, did they consult foreign governments or diaspora Nigerians? But now that their second-hand vehicle is predictably giving them the usual Tokunbo engine problems, they want to report Nigeria and its institutions to foreign governments.
Reporting the Independent National Electoral Commission to foreign governments, as the factional ADC just announced they plan to do, is a waste of time and effort. The David Mark faction of the African Democratic Congress should understand that Nigeria is a sovereign nation. We are not governed from foreign capitals.
And the Independent National Electoral Commission should not be beholden to a disgruntled former coup plotter. Their only loyalty is to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
David Mark and his fellow power-hungry discontents in the ADC should stop chasing shadows. Go to court and resolve your factional issues. Thankfully, the Court of Appeals has granted your faction an accelerated hearing. Take advantage of it to prove your case.
That their faction of the ADC does not want to do that speaks volumes. Why are they afraid of the court?

This classic banger is one of the standout tracks from Eedris Abdulkareem’s breakthrough album Mr. Lecturer, originally dropped in 2002.
"Live in Yankee” is a proper humorous storytelling jam about a guy who swears to marry his babe back home in Naija, only to japa to “Yankee” and ghost her.
Eedris flexes hard in character bragging about chilling with Puff Daddy, copping a Lexus Jeep, and eyeing a Grammy win in New York.
Did you vibe to this one back in the day?

Dear Ikem,
Thank you for your feedback. Did you, Ikem, have any choice in determining your ethnicity? No. You are only Igbo by accident of fate. God could have made you a Lukumi Yoruba or a Northerner. Hating people solely based on their ethnicity is a liability.
In fact, it is wrong to hate another human. You can hate what they do, but not the person.
And even if you must hate others (you shouldn't), do so based on things they can control, such as their character. But to detest them based on attributes that are beyond their control does not reflect well on our judgement as humans.
And the funny thing is, linguistically, Lukumi Yoruba is the closest language to Igbo and Efik. They are from the same Niger-Congo language family.
Let's start with the basic thing man searches for: God. God in Igbo is not Chukwu. That is a misnomer. Chukwu is actually two words. Chi and Ukwu conflated.
The actual word for God in Igbo is Olisa, which corresponds to the word for God in Lukumi Yoruba, Orisha. Then you move to individuals: in Lukumi Yoruba, children are known as Omo, whereas in Igbo, they are known as Umu.
The words for body parts, which is the easiest way in etymology to find out if two languages are related, are eerily similar. Mouth in Lukumi os Enu, and Onu in Igbo. The ear is called Eti in Yoruba and Nti in Igbo. Nose is Imu in Lukumi Yoruba and Imi in Igbo. Teeth are Agbon in Lukumi Yoruba and Agba in Igbo.
Then you move on to animals and goats in Lukumi Yoruba is Ewure, meanwhile, it is Ewu in Igbo. The Yoruba word for a male chicken or cockerel is Akuko, and in Igbo, the same animal is called Okuko.
Stone or rock os Okuta in Lukumi and Okwute in Igbo.
Then you move on to the most essential thing for life on Earth: water. In Lukumi Yoruba, it is Omi; in Igbo, it is Mmiri.
Then, to the commonest forms of communication, which will be questions. What in Yoruba is Kini, and in Igbo it is Ogini.
So you see, Ikem, when you come down to the basics, these Yorubas you insult are genetically and linguistically closer to you, as an Igbo, than the Hebrews of Israel. You cannot find a single word in Hebrew that has linguistic affinity to Biblical Hebrew. But there are hundreds of words of common origin between Lukumi Yoruba and Igbo.
Even Peter Obi's surname has the same root as the Yoruba word for king, Oba.
Not what you will like to hear, I know. Yet, truth is bitter but better than butter in a batter!
Thank you again, Ikem, and may God bless you.

@harriman_jr @FSYusuff You want to say you didn’t notice that video is Ai ?
English

@FSYusuff Protecting power instead of protecting people.
When leaders treat peaceful protest like a bigger threat than actual violence, it tells you exactly where the real insecurity lies… not in the streets, but in the conscience of leadership.
“A total misplaced priority”.
English

@Yunglynxx101 @dammiedammie35 Don’t mind the werey. What exactly did he do in Rivers state as governor for 8 years with all the allocations and money the state made. Is it by only building roads in his LG and Port harcourt. Lol. That werey looted the state to stupor.
English

“It is only in Nigeria that a man wants to lead you to kill you. I say I don’t want your leadership, you say you must want it. In Nigeria political space, leadership is by force. I don’t want you to lead me, no, I must lead you, don’t be my leader, I must be your leader. Okay, let me select my leader, I must snatch your ballot box. The last two elections in Nigeria has proven one thing, PVC is useless. This thing we calling democracy in Nigeria is useless, we must return it. democracy we have in Nigeria is not democracy. It is a duplicate. What we have is a government of the Agbero, by the Agbero and for the Agbero . Agberocracy” - Pastor Sulaiman

Someday, Nigerians will have an empathetic president who will treat victims of terror attacks as real human beings, with the basic dignity humans should have... a courageous president who will visit actual terror scenes to personally assess damage and console victims.
Until then, continue managing this one who summons victims into a town hall where he delivers yet another of his many insipid speeches...
