If the church really cared about widows . I mean really cared… Really took the widows and orphan thing seriously instead of filling hundreds of trucks with food to send to poor communities. They would assign an elder In The Ward to specifically take care of the widows cars. Not just the pathetic ministry brothers who never speak to you- The calling would include putting air in their tires, taking it for inspections, fixing it if need be and making sure it is registered in a timely manner. When that damn engine light comes on, she shouldn’t have to go down to AutoZone to buy a diagnostic tool to plug it in to try to figure out what the code means and then argue with the guy at the driver’s edge over his idiocy not being able to read that the gas cap that she bought at AutoZone was adequate to prevent the evaporated leak since the engine light no longer came on. That is compassionate service. That is what widows need. Yes I’m angry my husband is dead.

@mkostial05 They are good for protecting yourself from violent predators and tyrannical governments. Those are the two best reasons to own them. That does not negate any of your other reasons. I call shooting Ballistic Therapy.

Why I like guns. 1) I love target shooting. 2) They never lose value. (If you take care of them) 3) They last for generations (see above) 4) They all shoot differently. 5) They are all fun to shoot. So, there you go. Have a great day.
