Today is the day, I finally have my first testosterone injection after waiting 5 years. Man, I can’t believe it’s finally happening 🏳️‍⚧️❤️

Had an access refusal today with my Guide Dog, again from another @SUBWAY chain in Felixstowe where we were told repeatedly to get out even after we said Yash was a GD. This is now the 3rd access refusal I’ve had from the chain. And it happened on my day off work! @guidedogs

@CButterwick I always try and see the funny side of it but yes, it’s so frustrating!

@RYeomansWrites This happens to me quite a lot when I use my long white cane - people seeming to walk straight at me, as if they want to 'test' how I react. It's really frustrating.

Love it when sighted people play blind chicken with me. Basically walking straight at us and seeing if I move out of the way which I don’t and then they have to move instead. Why waste your time when a blind person is coming towards you with a guide dog?

@CJL_Thomason @PhDForum Oh cool! I’m registered blind so I used a lot of my own experiences in my research. I will publish the novel at some point so watch this space!

@RYeomansWrites @PhDForum Cool! Is the crime novel available? I recently published a fantasy novel with a blind protagonist. I’m not blind myself, but I asked Daniel Kish to review the manuscript, and he was really supportive. But I definitely would love to read yours with ni visual description at all.

Another day, another access refusal. This time from Ipswich @Primark where the security guard told me that my Guide Dog wasn’t allowed in store and then proceeded to follow us around the shop which made my anxiety 200x worse. We raised it to a manager but it isn’t ok! @guidedogs

So I had my operation yesterday at Kings fertility clinic. Still knackered and sore but I fucking did it. No more injections or scans for the foreseeable. Time to get onto the transgender clinic about treatment then!

Given the go ahead to continue fertility treatment at kings college!!
