Hi X friends and family. I’ve been off here for a while but need help. I was hate crimed on Wednesday 2nd @BrightonMarina McDonald’s. @sussex_police are investigating. It was a homophobic hate crime @PrideBrighton - I was assaulted. If any1 can identify please help @brightonargus

I would sincerely like to say soz 2 my institution. Been told this tweet a) brings UoB into disrepute, b) reveals confidential info (sent via all school email), c) is considered discriminatory, bullying, and harassment. I understand this is the concern. NOT me feeling depressed

Hope you are OK James. In the way they approach things Universities seem to have forgotten that, they are a people business and that their staff are valuable, and sometimes vulnerable feeling people. I know social media can be a bad place too. Look after yourself.

It will be deleted by 19/2/24 to avoid a disciplinary. I need to stress that I 100% do not feel directly victimised by the management at UoB and feel grateful for their upstanding treatment of me. Every single day I walk onto campus is like walking through the gates of heaven.

@DrJoGrady Hi Jo, not sure if you’re aware, we at Brighton largely feel like you’ve failed us. We lost our dispute, we were thrown under the bus for the MAB (which we’re still being deducted for) by you and UCU leadership, and we have a no confidence motion in you. Aberdeen deserve better

The attacks that are taking place on our members across the UK are disgrace. We will fight every single one of them. We will fight them in Aberdeen like we are fighting them at Oxford Brooks, Brighton, Staffordshire, and elsewhere.

I mean - yeah the anti-union laws do pose significant barriers, but we’ve also not met the threshold cause the leadership of this union is just utter shite.

@ucu are supporting me with £150, whilst simultaneously deducting £49.23 from my acc, for 30 days of MAB deductions. I really do feel @DrJoGrady and UCU leadership just don’t care about winning disputes. They just want the profile and campaign resources. This union is a joke

Gaza is under intense bombing. Telecommunications have been cut. We can't get through to our family who have been trapped in this war zone for almost 3 weeks. We can only pray they survive the night. How many more children have to die before the world says enough?
