@TheApexRM Brother, It's all way more complicated than that. We seem wise because we've probably screwed up just as much and learned from mistakes. We were the beginning of social media but it wasn't always accessible in every form. So less anxiety around it and your appearance.

i am very envious of people older than me. specifically people in their 40’s and higher. they have the foresight and wisdom that i haven’t lived long enough to obtain while also having the mileage and experience to know what they want and how they want it. usually that in itself comes with security in one’s self and the ability to disconnect from others that don’t particularly benefit their life. the societal pressures don’t affect them the way it does with younger people. and they lived during a time where cost of living was affordable. i would assume that things felt more in your hands back then, like you could control more. to me potentially that’s why the “get off your ass and do it” mentality is so strong within that generation because things were more tangible. i am envious of older people.
