Elder millennials are slowly but surely inheriting the world. They bring an unparalleled perspective of the old world and the new world. The thesis here is self evident. If Gen X provided the cynical critique of the old systems, and Gen Z provides the urgent demand for new ones, the Elder Millennials are the only ones with the specific technical and historical vocabulary to actually build the bridge between the two. These are some of the brightest minds to ever exist, saturated in a collective creative optimism capacity that has never existed before. And as they ascend into the leadership roles, and inherit the greatest transfer of generational wealth to ever occur over the next decade, they will bring the most hyped up nostalgia culture ever conceived with them: the 1990s. It will be a uniquely American renaissance as the early adopters of the internet, rooted in a pre-smart phone, pre-social media bucolic youthful upbringing, assume institutional and cultural charge of the trajectory of the next century of America’s story, and with it, the story of humanity here on earth. The outlook has begun arcing back towards optimism. Plan accordingly. The grim meta is near complete. Fear is quickly falling out of fashion. The world yearns for a joyful resurgence and reorientation to the dream that has been deferred for the past quarter century.
