@lost_nomad__ A lot of this is just that the female influencer scene is pitched at upper middle class and the male influencer scene is pitched at downwardly mobile. One can imagine many theories about why that might be.

Since this blew up and certainly many people are misinterpreting this as a call to “Return”… it isnt. This was just an observation. The sollution isnt a “return” to a more “classy form of masculinity”.

@SouthrnLights This is true, but among the younger men, I think theres an additional explanation that has to do with alienation (from society and oneself) that makes them seek an idealised patriarchal past and find its most authentic form in the primitive.

@RedSpectre5 As with everything, the mask of the domination changes according to the evolving conditions. They used to see women as beneath them, and society validated it. But now that they are threatened with us being as human as them, they need to put a show of superiority.
