these girls exist, btw, they're depressed sensitive boymoders

That one virgin girl with zero body count who loves you unconditionally, isn't greedy and cares for you and always supports you. Sad that most men will never find such a girl.
English

@materialcritic Soon you will realize all Amerikkkans are like that
English

@gruidae_james 1. Raw potatoes are edible
2. Potatoes are a vegetable
=>
3. All raw vegetables are edible
English

@politbureaucrat @kantbian When I wake up in the middle of the night
English

@destroyamerika @kantbian I respect the commitment to the bit, but if you went this far, I think you should've done 31 more.
English

@YaGotBlieve2022 Only agree with one of those, but its better to stay ignorant than aware of what Leninism is
English

@destroyamerika good luck w/ your vanguard, nation state, material dialectics, sense of political self-superiority, narcissistic self-centering, trust in “science” and whatever other fetishized artifacts of the 19th/20th c you have yet to deconstruct and decathect
English

If you’re not a Leninist in 2026 what are you doing
Anti-Aktionismus@destroyamerika
As Bataille once remarked that the only two viable political positions are Nietzscheanism and communism, today I say that the only two viable communist positions are Althusserianism and critical theory
English

@YaGotBlieve2022 Not Leninist, not Leninist (what supposed mastery?), not Leninist (the dialectic is not set in stone for us), anti-blackness is such a loose term it can be used for everything from colonialism to black amerikans hating afrikans and reverse, actionism and spontaneity are larp
English

@destroyamerika probably evading Leninist policing of deterritorialized spaces, rejecting performative mastery of the revolutionary process, looking askance at cultish devotion to the fetish of the dialectic, taking the study of antiblackness to heart, improvising clandestine actions of sabotage
English

@tropicalcamatte Freud’s view of his science can be summed up in the enumeration “Copernicus-Darwin-Freud” from Introductory Lessons
English

@destroyamerika Indeed. For Freud too the label “scientism” is complicated. He was came out of late 19th c positivism and strict science, yet what is the epistemological status of the discipline he founded, psychoanalysis, nowadays? It has a notoriously difficult relationship with Science.
English

@tropicalcamatte I cannot say what science is truly for Althusser, although it is necessary for a contemporary reacknowledging of him, until a closer study. But I can say that a starting point for Althusser’s concept of science is in “On Marx and Freud”

English

@destroyamerika There's also that whole phase in which his criticisms turn against the "spontaneous philosophy" of the scientists and the pseudo-autonomy of intellectual labour. Science is very important for Althusser, but the more complex and charged the concept, the more important it is.
English

@tropicalcamatte “Science”, to me, seems a principal term in Althusser’s philosophy. In his writings on M&EC philosophy is inseparable from science. In “On Marx and Freud”, he relates both Marx and Freud as anti-unity sciences, and we both know how Freud saw science.
English

@destroyamerika I think it's not entirely wrong, but complex to apply the notion of scientism to Althusser, especially bc it's in a decisively anti-positivist, anti-empiricist philosophy. His crit of Hegel as empiricist has to do with the phil of identity: for empiricism, the real is rational.
English

@tropicalcamatte I believe his differentiation stems from the scientism (akin to Lenin) that he attributes to Marxism and consequently Hegelianism (altho Hegelianism is an empiricist science for him)
English

@tropicalcamatte Its thesis is that they do meet closely in many points (although Adorno tends to go beyond Althusser and they get close through different rationales) but they differentiate immensely on the question of Hegelianism
English

@destroyamerika I think I have read this one in the past, but can't say I remember the argument. However, to make my reasoning clear, I don't propose to erase their differences, just to promote a dialogue in common language and remark on surprising convergences, rather than the common allergy.
English

@tropicalcamatte How would you begin to reconcile that with him calling Hegel an empiricist ?
English

@destroyamerika Recently, I've been trying to articulate that Althusser was precisely trying to arrive at a formulation of non-identity in his criticism of empiricism, as well as in the path to aleatory materialism.
English

@splitzerr1 Of course YOU would want some twomen saved for you 🤣😂
